I enjoyed your review video. It has been helpful. Your video, along with talking with quite a few of my neighbors has helped me in deciding which machine to get, Skandic vs Expedition. I have just purchased the 2024 Skandic 900 ACE SWT. My wife and I live quite rural and we have a remote cabin in a deep snow area as well. I have been making cabin trips for 12 years using a wide track machine and am looking forward to the super wide. We frequently have to break trail getting to/from the cabin and the wide track machine has been pushed to it's limits and beyond too many times. I broke trail a few years ago with two other men and their machines, one of which was a super wide. The super wide was very impressive in it's abilities compared to my wide track. I seen that your wife now has a super wide as well. That's great. Here in Alaska, Snowmachines are pretty important to our way of life just as they are where you live.

Excellent Review ! I just bought a new scandic myself . t looks like you added on to the stock bracket on your Goldfinger. Does it matter what part number you chose ? I plan to do the same but I want to get the right Goldfinger to start.Thanks.

Hello, Congratulations on your new skandic! On my 2022 model I have a « drive by wire » throttle ( unfortunately) and I had to design and fabricate my own bracket for the goldfinger throttle as they don’t make one. I believe the new models of Skandics are back to « drive by cable » throttle for which standards brackets works. Don’t hesitate to contact me for more info. Philippe

Yes, XPS 4 stroke engine oil 0W and castrol 2 stroke for the 440

@@TheBrientFamily ok, I also use xps, as the manufacturer recommends. It’s strange that the throttle handle on the left is not made as an additional accessory and you have to be smart

@@indigo8856 Lol indeed, but that’s due to the electronic throttle on this model. These ´gold fingers’ are available, and made for for cable throttles.
