That's an amazing place. I started paddling the Tsichu and Keele rivers from the NWT side of that pass. I got dropped off with a folding canoe and paddled to Norman Wells.

That's a great trip. Lived in Inuvik for 5 years so know the Dempster and Delta well. Do you use studs on your tracks? Looking forward to your next trip.

Great video. I think its so cool that you go on these adventures together. Snowmobile travel is quite unique- I cant imagine all the potential variable to account for when crossing the big mountain pass.

This is the only channel on KZbin that I cast to my TV and watch all the way through. Just incredible scenery and adventure. I really like your positive attitudes. My wife and I are very avid outdoor adventurists as well. Nothing beats a Ski Doo. The music is phenomenal as well. A+

Thanks for sharing your adventure. The Dempster looks much different in winter than when we made many trips to the upper Blackstone area from late June to August. Road condition are a lot better in winter as well.

Indeed, we heard lots about all the potholes. In winter those are filled with snow. It’s such a beautiful place up there! We would love to see it in the summer, or with all the fall colors. One day..

Yes we can, one reason why we choose big tents is so we can set them up over top of our snowmobile in case of emergency fixing, or we can work on them inside at night if we need to, or if we need to thaw them out or whatever else can happen 😅

How did the house at Hershel get full of snow? Polar bear break the door down?

Indeed, a bear broke in through a window and the rear half of the cabin filled completely with snow. The front half ain’t that bad and we cleaned it and boarded the window. The bone house was also broke in and partially filled up. The bear pull a bunch of bones out but it ain’t too bad. A storage building got broke in and filled with snow as well.
