I wish you had shown the inside of the chain case cover. Is there a gasket on that cover? If so, does the gasket ever require replacing?

There is a rubber seal in the cover, no need to replace it unless it was leaking.

Is there any problem with putting more oil in there for better heat transfer? We've got a ski-doo 1200 renegade -11, bcx 600 -13 and a bcx 800 -13. The 1200 carries a snow groomer sometimes and the chaincaselid gets quite hot. We've changed the oil a few times and there is no damage done to the chain, slider/tensioner or gears. The other machines doesn't get that hot nomatter the conditions.

I put 12oz of chain case oil in my 2006 Ski Doo 800 rev will it hurt anything? Or will I be fine?

HI Dave. I have a problem with the float sensor on my Skidoo 600 mxz rev sport 2014. The float keeps falling to the bottom, this activates the low oil sensor, on the dashboard. I purchased the whole oil reservoir, as it came attached. How do I change the entire oil reservoir on this unit? This is not the crankcase oil, its the regular oil unit
