Sorry for the bad camera angle and the clipping audio BrapGang. Still getting the new setup sorted out but I think I have it all dialed for next time. Appreciate the support and thanks for watching!!

Looking good buddy. I find a bit of push on the skies of my 17 its a 129 it’s my first year with a G4 But what an engine. Hit it at mid throttle and I was blown away. 0 to 100 mph about 450 ft out of the hole it’s crazy and with just a clicker adjustment and no sore back so far this year. Lol. Ride Safe Enjoy your season.

Thanks man! You were spot on last week, between the conditions and the short ride I just didn't get enough quality seat time to really form a solid opinion. Glad to have some more miles under my belt to form more of an opinion. Loving the sled so far. Looking forward to riding it more and really getting to know the sled 👍

My biggest reason for Doo over the others is the motor. So many advantages of the E-tec motor other then power, it’s hard to describe but I heard it best years ago... The run quality is almost like a 3 stroke. Yet, no weight gains. I feel that Poo and Cat really need to catch up with DI.

At least my truck and trailer made the video. I came back to my truck and that Poo was parked right in front of it. I came over to say whats up. I was the guy from near Saratoga. It was nice meeting you. If we get some good snow this way you will have to make the trip to the Southern Adirondacks to ride.

Glad you got out on the new DOO, Bobby. It is such a great machine. Your reactions reminded me of some of mine when I got my '19 X-RS 850. The motor is crazy powerful, but smooth and controllable. The Sled rolls a little on turn initiation, but when you shift your weight it will bite in. I think you will really enjoy it off trail too. Its been a low snow year so far - our trails in the eastern UP (Michigan) don't look a whole lot better than yours. I rode 300+ miles last weekend around Grand Marais, MI - early season conditions for sure, but worth it. We are headed to the Keweenaw Peninsula (western UP) on 1/17, so hoping for some cold weather by then. Lake Superior is wide open and ready to be sucked up by the Lake Effect machine. Great video!

I'm glad your liking the new sled. SnowTrax mentioned the front end gets over worked, like you noticed. I wonder if shock adjustments would help minimize that problem ? I love the way body position on the Gen4 affects the way the sled handles. It's amazing.
@Revrider5503 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm loving it. The 137 has really blown me away. Yeah ill definitely adjust it a bit and see if I can improve it. Its not awful, like I said in the video it's just different. I agree It's awesome the way body language effects the sled. I can really see why the panels and seat are designed the way they are. Really let's you work the sled with your body.

Calling for snow end of this week so hoping that happens but I’m still waiting for my trailer from blizzard told me 6-8 weeks and its been 14 weeks was wondering how long yours took to be done from when they were suppose to finish it thanks
@Revrider5503 жыл бұрын
Fingers crossed. Ordered ours on 9-26 picked it up on 12-4 so we were about 10 weeks. Love the trailer but took about 3 weeks longer than we were told, the color was wrong, and our vin was wrong on the title... customer service has been a bit of a headache. Sorry to hear yours is delayed. Hopefully they'll get caught up soon and get yours to you.

Doos are definetly more twitchy in the front over polaris. On another note you dont need a long track to do off trail our group all started on 120s with 1.75 paddles and could go so many places and it was so fun. Pretty much from new york to the u.p. a 129" would do the job with a paddle. Yeah assaults are sweeet and i own one but really dont need it. Love them doos but not a huge fan of the gen 4. Xs is an awsesome chassis and that seat on your bros sled hands down best there is. Like riding on a pillow. Gen 4 might as well be riding ln a tampon lol

I know its too soon but what's your thoughts on power throw the RPM range compared to the 850 patriot
@Revrider5503 жыл бұрын
I find for trail riding the etec seems to be in the heart of its powerband more often that the Patriot. The Patriot feels like it builds more and more power the higher in the RPM range it gets which makes for an exciting riding experience when you pin it at 50+ mph. They're two very different experiences in my opinion. Cant really go wrong if your riding areas are varied but if you spend most of your day on tight twisty trail below 50 id say the etec feels stronger, if youre spending a lot of time on wide trails with long straight aways the Patriot feels like a rocket.

When you sell you’re sledds do you get top dollor or cut them a sweet deal just to move it along ?
@Revrider5503 жыл бұрын
I try to move them quick. I'm usually on the lower end if what I see comparable sleds listed for. Only sled I've had trouble selling so far was the 2016 RR. I think it was a combo of listing it too early (August) and being and RR and 6000 didn't appeal to as many people as an 800 would have.
