Late to the party, but i would recommend just cutting some rubbing hose to slip over/attach to the touch points to prevent any further damage.

Instead of taping the bottom bolts, can you just turn them around so the head is facing "inwards" toward your sled? Also, I see what you're saying about the clearance around your ski bolts, but is it possible to widen out these dolly's say... an inch or so... so they would work on most sleds without changing the width on them? Thanks for any answer, I'm looking at a set for my sled and am really curious to hear your feedback.

Good points here, just looked at the bolts I have taped. They do have to face that way as the back of the rounded heads are squared so they don't turn in the groves for adjustment. That adjustment is for narrower and wider skis so it does move for the ski bolts but I wouldn't make it any wider for my skis or they would start to slip off. Neither of these things are a big issue just something to be aware of when using these wheels. Thanks for the question and I hope it helps. Let me know if there is anything I can clear up here.

The ones that are under the sled from the start,,, what are they called and where can you get them? Been looking for that kind and cant find any

I think if you just googled snowmobile dolly you would find lots of options. I got mine from Royal Distributing in Ontario Canada, Canadian Tire also carries them. This may not help you if your in the States though.

They get a lot of camber underneath the Expedition 9AT.

Thanks for the feedback for everyone else. I can see how different ski shapes would affect them. They seem to distort some for me once the sled is pushing them around as well.

If I'm remembering right they are squared off under the round head so they lock in. Because of that they wont reverse easily.
