Some good tips for we senior citizens.I am 77 and still skiing with a big smile on my face.

Instant sub from me!! I'm 60, learned to ski when I was 3, on Mott Mountain in Farwell, MI, which my family built. Still love it, and still ski really hard. Always looking for tips, and to watch how others are getting after it, whether young or old. Your skiing style is killer!! Also, that comment about what it takes to warm up. Absolutely on point. I also trail run, and do stuff like running R2R at the Grand Canyon each year on my birthday, and occasionally racing a trail Half. It takes me about 15min of run time, before I stop feeling like tin man, and start getting fluid. Sort of cracks me up. Definitely takes a few "hard" runs down the mountain before I get more into the groove. Taught my daughter to ski when she was 5, and we've had a blast skiing together this season.

OK what this video does that I keep trying to find is that it actually shows extended footage of the exact technique you're talking about. For ex.- if I search for tips for skiing steeps, there are plenty of people giving advice, but almost none of them will show you a video of them doing a full run. So yes, please more of this!

respect the turn - straight lining is a waste of snow- great advice for all skiers young and old

Nice, smooth turns. And YES, looking further ahead in moguls helps a ton.

As another senior love your relaxed approach to skiing. Many of us are just looking to get out, ski safely and take it all in. These really help to do just that

I guess at 52 I'm not quite an Old Fart, but damn you sure carve & mogul way better than I! Credit to you, I've been asking myself how much more time do I have skiing moguls. Looks like with any luck into my 70's, a couple more decades SWEAT! Thanks you're a true inspiration!

LOL! I’m 65 and teach people 30 years my junior who constantly ask ‘how do you do that?”! New ski technology, Pilates/yoga, and knowing the proper techniques make it possible.

@@Osnosis 100% I'm 60, ski on a ridiculous pair of Atomic Metrons, and am still having a blast skiing hard. I run steep trails year round, cross-train on a very heavy mtb on the same trails that I run on, and will occasionally hammer out a spin class. I'm a believer in: What you do in the current decade, paves the way for how you'll do in the next. I'm always trying to improve how I ski, and really enjoyed this video!

Biggest danger on narrow trails is snowboarders whizzing by at warp 10. Watch out for heelside Crazy Ivan.

Please, on skinny trails, ski on the right unless you're passing, same as in your car. That way, others know where to expect you to be. Even more important, when overtaking another, SAY something - most common is "On Your Left." If you're skiing one the right, where you belong, then also always expect someone skiing faster to come up from behind and pass you on your left.

my recommendation...avoid injury at all cost...as a last resort, if something is injured, let it heal...even if you have to take 2-3 seasons off
