That's a very narrow minded way of thinking about it. It's a camera... take photos and videos as memories ....if the videos and photos are for personal use or otherwise that's each person's own choice. I personally make holiday videos from most trips and my family get great enjoyment watching them and remembering the good times. ZERO to do with vanity.
