Not the very first song I heard from #SkidRow. But definitely one of my favorites. I love the aggressiveness of this track, the cowbell definitely gives #monkeybusiness the drive it needs. I hope you enjoy this drum cover. Huge shout out to #Robaffuso for being one of my early influence.

I'm tempted to say Let's Go Brandon in a non-political way. Great job, great cover. 2:34, one of the most well-known paraddidles in metal history, haha! Rob was a great drummer. Skid Row's first two albums are absolute classics. All killer, no filler. Too bad egos and substance abuse fucked what was arguably the best band to bridge the glam and metal genres.

Love it dude great job!! Fellow drummer here...Is it me or does the energy in this song not match the speed requires to play it. It's like you got to calm down but it makes you want to just go crazy while behind the kit. I could see me having to start over getting ahead of myself lol.🤘🤘

I completely know what you are talking about. I felt the tempo of this song was too slow, I imagined it to be faster, never realised how slow it was. The first take of this recording I felt uncomfortable, I had to really register the actual tempo of the song, feel the groove as it is and then fit in the beats within the pocket, the tempo only made sense when I started singing along to it while drumming. I think that’s it, it may be too slow for the energy from a drummer’s perspective, but from a riff and vocal perspective, it was the perfect tempo on an album. From what I know, during live shows, Sebastian actually requires the tempo of the songs faster though.

@@stephenblackwell5533 yes. I’m sure there was a serious discussion on the final tempo of this song during the recording phase. But I can’t imagine singing thelyrics during the verses any faster than the album tempo, it’s definitely a mouthful “Kangaroo lady with her bourbon in a pouch Can't afford the rental on a bamboo couch Collecting back her favors 'cause her well is running dry I know her act is terminal but she ain't gonna die.”

@@stephenblackwell5533 yeah! It would sound rushed, I was just tuning my ears to the guitar riff! At this tempo, it’s perfect, all the nuances, all the bends sound clear and aggressive at this tempo.
