unfortunately in 2019, Skid Row w/Bach does not exist because of Bach. he's a child growing older. he is very, very immature and i totally respect how Rachel, Scotti and Snake refuse to share the stage w/Bach again. those guys did it once already and learned that reuniting would Sebastian would be "all about Sebastian" and not so much about Skid Row.

He was fired due to his excessive drinking.....which was his demise in his life.....family and friends and wealth slipped thru his fingers....he was a fantastic singer.....he did musicals out side of his band cause of his voice.....could scream loud and high and never blew out his voice....
@javtimestwo5 жыл бұрын
what you don't understand is Scotti, Rachel and Snake value 'sanity' over success, wealth and a reunion w/Sebastian. put this into perspective: Sebastian ruined being in a band so much that those guys refuse to share the stage with him again. a person would have to do significant amount of damage to make those guys feel how they do. i respect Scott, Rachel and Snake for sticking to their guns. Cannot be hard but if that makes them happy, more power to them.
@cheapseats125 жыл бұрын
Skid Row is not relevant today really. Bach is. He has been more relevant than them since the split. Van Halen was more relevant than Roth was after that split. Sabathin pointed me out, laughing from knowing i was blowed away from the go, fresh and clean free, and pumped, skidrow opened it up for real. Then GnR, labled the most dangerous band in the world, rocked the house, over two hours loud as it can be, while acknowledging the recent complaints of city officials(Grove City, Ohio)@ Beulah Park Jockey Club. Well, my brother has just given me the newest CD by "Skid Row", and Sabastian Bach is NOT on this CD. SO, of course, I was MEGA disappointed by that fact, and, I actually refused to even listen to it, BUT, I am kinda THINKING that since my little bro gave it to me, that MAYBE I should "give it a listen". I have NOT YET listened to it, BUT, I will eventually. Snake and Rachel were major players in the creative side of the band, AND, Scotty is a major part of the "WOW FACTOR" of the bands "live show", and SCOTTY kicks MAJOR ass on guitar, and the DRUMMER does a great job and he is CUTE too. SO, I WILL SAY that Sabastian BACH WAS a HUGE part of Skid Rows success, and, I really have NO IDEA WHY he ever left Skid Row, BUT, I do DOUBT that the guys in the band were just JEALOUS of him. It REALLY seemed like the guys in the band were quite comfortable with their positions in the band. Perhaps I have missed something though?
@Nisie23 Жыл бұрын
@Julie Gogola Yes, you have. They were definitely jealous of Sebastian. Rachel said in an interview that Skid Row was more than just Sebastian. He was especially jealous when Rolling Stone put Sebastian only on the cover. Read other articles too, saying the same, that jealousy was evident. Jealous of all the attention he got from the fans, females, especially and the media. They even separated from Sebastian on tour and made Sebastian get his own tour bus, separate from the rest of the band. For the record Sebastian didn't leave, he was kicked out. Anyway, Skid Row is not Skid Row without Sebastian. That's just a "cover band singer" signing Sebastian's parts (badly) with the rest of them. This isn't Skid Row and will never be.

Saw their Slave to the grind tour in Nashville. Sound garden opened for them and it was an amazing show!!

I was there for this show, they simply blew Guns n' Roses away that day. And managed to get themselves banned from Wembley venues for life in the process... a slight problem as the headline tour Sebby mentions at the end of this clip included Wembley Arena! Hastily moved to Docklands Arena instead. Seen both the Skids and Sebby many times since!

Chris Wills why did they get banned

A whole host of things, there is a longer video on here that shows more of the set, the intro to Get The Fuck Out explains it quite well. Basically GnR had had some riots in the USA not long before this UK date and the local council were shitting themselves that similar would happen here, with an attendance of 80,000, probably with good reason as this wasn't too long after Hillsborough. The council wrote to the band and insisted on no swearing, no stage diving, no nudity and that Get The Fuck Out could not be played without changing the words. The F count went through the roof, I think Rachel did do a stage dive, Rob flashed his bits about and Sebastian read the letter out to the crowd and got everyone chanting the title before playing it with no alterations to the lyrics. At the end he said if they pulled the plug that there would be 80,000 fist rolling motherfuckers to deal with. Wisely the show did not get stopped, but Skid Row did not get to play Wembley Arena later that year, and I don't think ever again - Sebastian I think has supported GnR at Wembley Arena around 2006 but there was some doubt about whether or not he would still be subject to the ban!

He is the original metal head outside Halford & Ozzy for the simple reason he and skid row made the most awesome, true grit skid row music possible when easily Bach could have sold himself out to the modeling business or hollywood with his attractive looks. Instead he turned himself out and did the total opposite and became a true grit never changing skynard tabacoo chewing Free bird. His hair and attitude on stage cannot be duplicated. Pure metal head legend indeed. You can feel his heart!
