You realize that most ponds are made and packed by excavation equipment right? Pond dams hold Less moisture than you would think. And depending on who built it and packed it can be hard as piss

Hi Rick, What do you mean by "safety shielding" and where do you see it being placed? The cab enclosure of the machine provides enough protection against the rare scenario that any debris would come off the post. I assume you are referring to the wood spontaneously exploding? That won't happen.

There is no safety shielding for shattering of post! The shielding for the operator would be a Lexon door that is not there in Video. And YES the post do splinter! OHSA would shut it done! Every body needs to go home after work, not to Hospital because they did not know!

I like how this machine work's with the pole as it puts it into the ground, I am sure that it would run for a long time. It looks like it would even work on unleveled ground! what about driving steel fence posts?

You're right. The operator clearly should have brought his lexan door down. He simply must have forgot. This is a new machine in the video so you can see there is a door on the unit. It slides down from over top - it's a Kubota thing. Cheers and thanks for the comment!
