Can hardly imagine how many thousand and thousand of tons of rocks you moved from such a large field. =)

trouble is, there's same amount of rocks 5 inch under the surface too

It depends what you want to do. If you want to do agriculture, then you need to rip to 600mm or so. Remove all the rocks. Then you can build a wall or a house

Hey mate im looking at the same bucket from the same place in vic. After 12 months hows it held up? Cheers

Can this bucket be used to dig up rocks? I have a bucket but it doesn't have teeth. My field looks exactly like yours. Did you plow the field first? Or just use the rock rake?

Scarifier first if you want to go deep

That's a lot of rocks. What have you done that the rocks are on the top like that? After plowing?

hrz4x4 this is what the farm looks like during the severe drought we have been suffering through, a lot of the topsoil has been blown off leaving behind the rocks.

Those rocks must have come from a volcanic eruption. Do you live in close proximity to the sea?

Where is this? Where did you get that bucket?

This is near Gunnedah NSW Got the bucket at agquip field day but the same company sell them on eBay
@phoenixrisen69353 жыл бұрын
@@michellephinn7905 Cheers any info on the company? I have small surface rock mostly light coverage compared to yours on grass pasture. Im hoping i can use this to pick them up and not have to do it by hand. Trying not to disturb the pasture too much.The other option is a rake or blade on the back of the tractor. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I wonder if you could pick potatoes with that bucket, lol
@michellephinn79053 жыл бұрын
You probably could but it would most likely damage quite a few.

I think hay might be the answer to that field.

Did you till the field first?
@michellephinn79053 жыл бұрын
No, not on this paddock.
@2Ryled3 жыл бұрын
@@michellephinn7905 did you just scrape up the dirt with grass/weeds and put it somewhere first? Then go back and scoop for stones? The reason I ask is I have a field that is now weeds. It has been mowed, and needs the rocks scooped out of it. Thank you. I have to rent one, I dont have a skid steer. Wish I did.
@michellephinn79053 жыл бұрын
2Ryled no on this paddock we were in a really bad drought so just dry grass and weeds we just scooped up the lot, grass and dirt fell through leaving just the rocks in the bucket. We have done the same on a paddock that was plowed up just have to shake the bucket a bit more to let the dirt fall through a machine with a cab/air con is better as it’s really dusty.
