Driving through Tropical Storm Sally to our Chosen Adventure at beautiful Skidaway Island State Park. Skidaway Island State Park is located just south of Savannah, Ga. Our RV Life Adventure includes at the beach on Tybee Island, touring Fort Pulaski and walking the waterfront and eating great food in the amazing city of Savannah.

Yes you definitely should! Fort Pulaski is such an interesting place and Tybee Island fun too. Another neat place to go if you like Plantations is the Wormsloe Plantation. So pretty.

Great to see a state park campground that is not too cramped. We will be heading that way in the not too distant future to also see Tybee and the Golden Isles. Is it convenient enough to Savannah? - Andrew

Yes we really liked this park and definitely return. Savannah is about a 25 minute drive from the campground so not bad at all.

Love Savannah. I was stationed there while in the army and would go to Tybee island Quite a bit.

Great video. While on a trip a few yrs ago we stopped at Savannah and Tybee Island and loved visiting both. We both agree that we would like to visit in our RV for a longer term stay. Hoping we can soon do this if the border re opens and we Canadians can head south again! Thanks for sharing your trip.

No, our site was not full hookups. I think most of the full hookup sites were on the other side of the street that we were on.

Some great places to eat Tybee just Coco's not one of them. Nice view at Coco's but that's about it

We really enjoyed our meal sitting outside, but yes there are also some really restaurants out on the south end.

@@ChosenAdventures There is a little shack on the water called Bubba Gumbo's. It has a cheesy name but is wonderful.Most of the fish is local there. AJ's Dockside another good one. Stingrays good also.
