Just want to thank you for this video. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and will miss my second Christmas at home this year. I won't get the chance to set up my own decorations and I doubt my wife will even do much without me there. It was enjoyable to watch your family get together to do this. I remember watching you channel ever since you were cutting trees to make room for the house. I'm still amazed how much things evolved. You can drag the trees down but try to use a shorter rope or maybe a chain and descent face down. Is safer that way and you have better control.

I had to check my calendar! A nice Wednesday evening with Red Poppy Family 💙 That tree turned out gorgeous!! I favor the white lights, too! I have had real trees for all of my adult life [35ish years] and last year, I just really didn't have it in the budget. A friend loaned me her smaller pre-lit tree. It was precious! After Christmas, she told me to keep it. Then in January I visited my Aunt who then gave me her large tree. I am now in possession of TWO fake trees! I couldn't be happier! 🎄😁

Suggestion - put up a pair of sawhorses with a sheet of plywood behind the splitter. Instead of falling onto the ground where you have to bend over to pick them up they slide right off and onto the woodpile or swept into the wheelbarrow so that you can wheel them all over at once. This is from a guy with a bad back. Another fun vid, as usual.
