I just bought a fire wagon for my logging operation. This is a great video! Maybe someday I will take my old skidder and mount a fire wagon to it like this!!

chains on all that rock-save the tires.... Awesome concept too

Chains and rock don't mix. Very slippery.

Can't be much fun running over all that rock. Neat conversion though.

I know it puts life and property at risk, but the forests would be so much healthier and less prone to catching fire if they just left alone and let mother nature do her thing.

I love how they still eun aloe 450 tinber jack they are probly beters off ecept the open cab they should have a preshurised cab but id hate to be in closes cab on its side in fire no way out but the old 450s where so simple to keep runing no fancy sylonoids and complicated valve body all levers and lever steer is beter for tight steering any way i like lever steer better then wheel steer

It’s a Skidgine - looks like a 518 cat. I used to own one from 04 to 2007, contracted on the Mendocino National Forest
