1:29... I've jumped off some crazy stuff in my 20's decades ago when we idolized legends like Glen Plake but I've never seen a mid-air 50 ft drop into a jump turn to brake speed. I would have broken everything and transitioned into an amoeba. Please never try this... he's not human.

Hats off to the insanity these guys and girls bring to one of the most fun sports ever created. I'm 63 started skiing in the early seventies when a daffy, helicopter of back flip was cutting edge, NOW these people are Olympic caliber gymnasts with a need for the most intense adrenaline rush possible. I'm off for 2 weeks to hit Wyoming Idaho and Utah!!!

Totally agree about the camera failing to capture immensity. It's like ya need way back profile shot to 50°+ angles camera flattens in close. I was dropping some chutes here an AK. Recently comparing everyone's pictures of the same feature. I an local backcountry rule.

As a boarder, i have the utmost respect for backcountry skiers. They will ride features that a boarder could never dream of, and I am comparing this to Rice. I just can't stand them on the slopes. Moreover, skiers probably cannot stand when boarders stop in the middle of the run.

Ok puckbunny. Have fun calling your bunny hop off a well kept pee wee terrain feature 6 feet of air buddy. Pizza party down the mountain at “60mph”. Hell do you know about “pow” bud. Groomers run every night down low gonna have to go up a little farther than the base lodge. Get you some fresh pow on the magic carpet when they turn on the snow blowers champ . Keep it real sport I know you don’t mess around with any of that cushy stuff.
