That was amazing. Such beautiful form and strength. This is what made me leave Sports like football and baseball behind. I loved motorcycles, but when I discovered “Downhill Skiing” winter became heaven on earth. The greatest drug in the whole world is “Human Adrenaline” every thing else is garbage.

Agreed. I grew up skiing, but didn’t start racing until I was a senior in high school. I developed quickly and was skiing with multiple people who went on to ski on the US Team (including Tommy Moe) and the absolute zen and freedom of skiing at extremely high speed while being in complete control is something I will never forget. I miss it greatly.

My favorite thing to do and I have done many exciting things. I skied two years when I was 80. I developed balance issues and had to quit. Still could easily as far as physical ability (even the blacks) but balance has taken it from me. I had many years of wonderful runs on over 70 mountains. It was my heaven in earth.
