Dr Dray, you have a lot of Muslim viewers so I think this question will be very relevant. A lot of us have to splash our faces with water about 3-5 times a day before prayer. I know this damages the skin barrier, do you have any tips to off-set this?
@gabiencina363
@gabiencina363 4 жыл бұрын
She talks about how leaving water on the skin without putting a moisturizer on will draw more water out. So I would assume, every time you finish praying, it would be a good idea to wash your hands and apply a moisturizer.

Hello, l am not an expert or anything, but maybe Sioris "Time is running out" mist could work for you? Sometimes l use it instead of moisturiser, it is very convenient to spray over your face and it moisturises nicely and has ceramides in it. Just a suggestion:)

I cast KZbin to my TV for the 1st time and you look huuuuuge!😄 I love Secret Key essence as my SKII dupe. Never used essences until postmenopausal skin started. The extra hydration, as opposed to extra occlusives from thicker moisturizers, has made a big difference in my skin texture... it's so soft, all day. Supplementation with collagen and hyaluronic acid, originally for arthritis, seems to help too. Definitely helps my achey hands, so I won't be giving it up any time. Love your trips to "the club."

Happy SaturDray! I literally bought that Missha essence when I saw your July fav about the I'm From Mugwort cream. Been using that for a few weeks too and loving it. At first I was hesitant because the artemisia version doesn't have the same ingredients as the regular time revolution version, no niacinamide or ceramide (according to their website). But I've been using it with Hada Labo HA lotion and it's working great, really calms my skin down I feel. Do you think the ingredients on the Artemisia version is enough humectant on its own?

👋 Hi there, I am always so grateful for your skincare tips and advice! I have a two questions in reference to this video...for a little background info: I currently use retin-a and hydroquinone in my nightly skincare regimen for my melasma, hyperpigmentation, and acne. I finally started it about a month ago and have seen great results. I haven't upped the hydroquinone to (the advised twice daily instructions) my AM regimen with Vit C serum due to the over drying effects I had after I first tried to incorporate it. So, I figured I would wait until my skin became more resilient to the application. My usual skincare routine is to wash my face with the Vanicream cleanser and then apply my Necessaire humectant moisturizer while my skin still damp (as I've learned from you👍) I then follow with a more occlusive moisturizer before moving on (at night) to apply my retin-a full face and then follow with the hydroquinone spot TX. Finally, my questions involve wanting to incorporate the essence dupe you've recommended. 1) At what point in my routine would I apply the essence (after moisturizer or before? If before, that would mean I apply it to damp skin after washing? If after moisturizer, would it really work like it is supposed to..) 😕 I'm confused... 2) After hearing my skin concerns and TX regimen, which of the two essences recommended would you think is best for me.. the "1st TX moist" or the "Artemisia"?? Sorry for the novel. I hope to hear back from you!! My skin has come so far with your help ❤️

when can i take off sunscreen? only when its pitch black out? is there any way to measure UVA? what do you think of using beauty blender to target where i want spf and reduce tugging? i am new here pls teach me. btw im not actually expecting you to reply with all these answers, but perhaps you could mention them next time youre doing a video relevant to these/ a Q&A? obsessed with your channel. i just finished an repeat exam and it went horribly (dont want to talk about it) but your videos are the only thing comforting me rn

I love cream cheese (kind of like "boursin", but Aldi's generic version ;)) on my sandwiches (which are buns in Belgium). I have a bread meal every Thursday, Saturday & Sunday and love it. The things they sell that you can put on there are... OMG! The choice. I especially like Gouda cheese and ham! Yum!

DHC deep cleansing oil in a 10 ounce bottle with a mini size for $27.99. I had just ordered a 6.7 ounce bottle from Amazon for the same price. Darn

I make a nice grain pilaf with oats, millet, quinoa, and buckwheat. Great jacket, Target has some really cute finds if you keep on the lookout! I've used the Missha Essence for years, I may have to give their Mugwort version a try. As an aside, and please excuse the mini-rant, Tiger King is horrific. There are scenes that are so sad, where you're seeing animals who are obviously in distress, are being kept in less than optimal conditions, the first episode has a snow leopard in high heat & humidity of FL, in a van without the AC turned on, without access to water. I lived in the Tampa Bay area for 20 years, and know people in the business both private and former circus performers and animal trainers. Trust me, you're not missing out if you don't watch the series.

@hotlikesauce

you always want to put hyaluronic acid on damp skin to seal in that moistures :) if not on damp skin, it can actually dry you out because the HA will “pull” water from the deeper layers of your skin!
