I bought a Skil battery powered mower. It is amazing!

Going electric has been the best decision I’ve made in awhile. It’s so much lighter and I don’t have to worry about oil, gas and spark plug gaping. If you are on the fence make the jump. You won’t regret it.

I like the way it looks and my next mower will either be an EGO or that Skil mower.

I still like my corded mower.... don't have to worry about batteries or the fumes and maintenance from gas.

That’s not how smartphone camera work. You shoot landscape or portrait. It’s based on orientation and the gyroscopic sensor

Skil. Better designed mower. But will need an extra battery for either unless you have a tiny yard.

Here's the thing with all this battery operated crap, longevity. I buy a corded tool and it can potentially last forever. I buy a gas mower and I can get 25 years out of it. How long before a plastic and battery operated tool full of sensitive electronics just shits the bed? How long befoe the battery tech changes and you are stuck with a heap of crap?

Battery is the future bro
@satchmodog23 жыл бұрын
@@Toolsinaction battery may be the future, but it is mostly tool companies building tools with shorter lives and with high priced consumables. Batteries are also a massive biohazard and the 3 places lithium is mined use slave labor. I find some cordless tools highly useful and convenient, but for the rest, cords don't bother me and I don't need to spend double or triple the cost of a corded tool to keep myself in the latest tech and a supply of batteries. Also, these aholes are not being genuine when they talk about run time. You do not want to run lithium batteries down like nicad. You are better served never letting them go below 50 percent. But they'll never tell you that when it's easier just to sell us 100 dollar batteries. Plus, they run out new tools every year with an extra few rpm or bpm and these fools flock to buy them and then hang them in their garage lol. Don't get me wrong, I love the cordless tools I have and I use them a lot. But soending an extra 200 on a flexvolt saw or the fortune I just spent on the Milwaukee 7 inch miter is stupid. But that Milwaukee was the best saw out there. At least so far Milwaukee has committed to the 18v, unlike this BS dewalt pulls.
