I bought the Skillhunt Ho3 headlamp abt 2 years ago on sale and it was worth every penny. It has never failed; fit, finish n UI are impeccable. Skillhunt is a very underrated company. There are coupon codes n sales for Skillhunt lights if you look around. Buy one, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the heads up on this new offering. Stay safe, Be Blessed

You had me at attaching it to a pack! Thanks buddy! It reminds me or a larger HL50

Several out there have clips to attach to a pack but if you typically use it as a headlamp the clip is left at home. Not in this case!

I have been really impressed with this brand. I got a H04 non RC and liked it so much I hqd to try the M150 HCRI. Also a great light. But man this is what I want. I want a solid copper head H04 special edition. I think it could run on turbo very well if this was done. And wow I can only imagine how cool it would look. Maybe one day they can do this and make it a 26350 cell light. Stubby, powerful and incredible runtimes. Oh please.

I like it. Anf its versatility is better than others for the fact you do not have to remove the pocket clip. I would keep it on The quick click low to high flood. Good review

The new version of the Olight Perrin attaches to the headband with the use of the clip.
@WarGrrl34 жыл бұрын
Olight is so OVER PRICED n has terrible UIs w ridiculously fast 'step-down'. Skillhunt= same or better quality n better UI for 1/3 of the price.

Would you get this or the mini, now after owning it? The larger one has it's advantages but it's heavier and the mini is pretty pocketable.

would you recommend this light in terms of quality/value proposition to zebralight? i'm in the process of getting a ZL but it is real pain to get one shipped to canada, so I'm wondering if i can be satisfied with skilhunt, despite it doesn't have the low, low firefly mode that i want.

That's really cool, I like the programing options. Have you tried the One80 H2 headlamp? I bought one off Amazon a few months ago. I really like. It's just an LED strip across your forehead. I still carry a thrower but it's nice around the campsite or taking out the trash at night lol.

Thank you for the presentation of this fantastic lamp. Is it really possible to use any unprotected 18650 cell? Or does it have to be at least XX millimetres?

I purchased the H04F with the flip down diffuser and it's so bad, the diffuser doesn't sit flush so the light shines out the side, down into your eyes. The diffuser collects the light and glares from its hinge into your eyes if it's flipped up. I made a video and sent it to Skilhunt, they agreed it wasn't the best and sent me lens kits free to change it to this version. Took me hours to change the lenses of all 16pcs I purchased. I will say that Skilhunt has incredible customer service. The H04 RC is excellent but never ever buy the H04F.

I was thinking in getting one, so i guess i'll go with the stndard one with TIR optics, thanks
@PiercingTheDarkness3 жыл бұрын
@@erikmetal666 easy enough to remove the pin out of the diffuser hinge though and put it back on when it's needed. The diffuser is no where near as good as the standard H04 Tir lens

Was going to buy the H04F a few months ago. Decided to just go the safe route and get the H04RC. Was watching this review now to see if he mentions anything about how the UI worked, its been a while and with when switching between biscotti, Anduril and now this too, I can get a little forgetful heh. Saw your opinion of the H04F just now and though "Glad I didn't get that then. But maybe he's just a guy who likes complaining." And then I saw who it was, one of my favourite light reviewers lol! Hello there!

Explain to me how you rotate it with the clip and attached to the headband.
@ethermendoza95874 жыл бұрын
@@livingsurvival the model I’m talking about is the Perun Mini. The head bang comes with a Velcro patch. The patch has a plastic mount that fits the clip of the head lamp, it also allows you to rotate the head lamp while in the mount. It gives you about 120 degrees of movement up or down. I like that the patch is Velcro since it allows you to put it on a hat or a beanie.

Why do flashlight nerds like, want or tolerate complicated, odd and weird, UIs? IMO Mode Group A sucks. To me, a guy that owns a few flashlights but isn't a "flashaholic," Olight figured out the user interface and nailed it. Everybody else should be copying them. This one isn't bad or unintuitive in B Mode but I can see handing this to somebody and them easily going into programming mode by accident and messing with the settings. Unnecessary feature IMO.
@xiage9652 жыл бұрын
Why do non-flashaholics tolerate tolerate horrible tints, color temp and low CRI? There's two very distinct markets for flashlights. I think this fits in closer to the enthusiast side.
@loungelizard392210 ай бұрын
I have to agree. The inevitable experience is you hand your light to someone, they click it as furiously as they can for a few seconds, put it in some weird mode, and you spend days trying to figure out how to undo it.
