It was my understanding that toothpaste should not be used as it is an abrasive. It can cause scratches which can then harbor bacteria. Is this not true?

I believe that is the case with certain toothpaste, but not all kinds.

I’m a denture wearer and you are NOT supposed to use regular toothpaste to brush your dentures. It will scratch the dentures, keep in mind that denture teeth are not like regular teeth at all. They don’t have roots and are not as strong as your own teeth... and it’s no wonder hospital bills are so high for patients, cuz the nurses just let the water running... and charge the patient at the end. Hahaha.

@@kpmoi5020 actually, you have to leave the water running. she turned it off with a clean paper towel at the end. that's to prevent from touching the handle and breaking the sterile barrier.

me my question is why she did not change the gloves after finish to clean the denture, and she keeps the same gloves to clean the area and put the bassin and other at their right place?
