SBMM makes people sweat and frustrated, I stopped playing Overwatch because of it, completely unplayable. Unfortunately a vast majority of people are clueless to SBMM.

Mostly just new player's. It's actually what Activision wants. The new players have no idea what cod was before thick sbmm. The randomness, the friendships created, the amazing smack talk and the rivalry. My highest ratio was 1.90 and that was in MW3. I can't even break 1.45 now. I love the competition, the competitiveness, but i can't stand going against KZbinrs i have no shot against. With thick sbmm,it seems as if that's all i play against. How do you adjust or git gud against players with 3.00 kds?

@@justsomefather2739 Exactly, but Activision thinks they're helping noobs when in reality SBMM is hurting them, it actually hurts player retention. That's why these games are so toxic now, Overwatch used to be chill and fun, now people are cussing eachother out and noobs are getting rolled lol. This is what happens when you let software algorithms intervene instead of random match making, especially because of so many smurf accounts it throws the algorithms off.

It annoys me when I come back to cod after weeks or months without playing and the game decides to put me in a lobby where the enemy team are just Rose Skins with an overuserd meta class, and my teammates are players that will go below 1 kd in that match.

Yeah the time waiting to fill the lobbies with the most equal skilled players is what killed the game for me. I could handle the sweats but not wasting minutes at a time between matches to be put in the last 2 mins of a game in progress.

Been going back and playing older cods on my ps3 and I forgot how fun cod use to be. World at war only had like 30 people online but surprisingly didn’t have any trouble finding a match. Bo2 is the best cod IMO only problem is hackers are common there.

In regards to SBMM I personally don't like it. I spent years getting good at Call Of Duty and then they're forcing me to be average again by pitting me against people with my exact play style which is not fun to play against every game.

I blame Activision for not applying A: A good Matchmaking system and B: For not implying a good anti-cheat in time or someone exposing the anti-cheat so cheaters would exploit it. I do like MW 2019 at times but what really makes it so stressful is both of those and not managing weapon balancing well. it took 2 effing years to nerf the Uzi man, that says a lot about them and the fact the rushed released CW and Garbageguard.
