I have one more tip for new players. And its pretty simple one too. Please use the mini map. Its there for a reason. I would also read the kill feed and match it with the deaths on the map. You'll know when someone has died on the map when the little logo is flashing a skull. Use the mini map to your advantage. This is Andrew by the way. Cool vids. I had similar playtime with Andrew at 1.4k hours. Some tips that i can scrounge up from the top of my head. Learn to differentiate the engine sound of tanks. Warthunder has tons of unique sound for tanks and this can really help you to prepare to engage enemy that you havent seen yet. You heard a toy car sound? probably an R3 zooming around being a menace. Heard a low rumbling sound? probably a tiger. This can help you pick your fight. Next, which you practice in the vids but didnt mention is to bringing a few HE round for open top as evidently shown in the vids as this can help with those "no armour best armour" open top tanks. Another one is to look at the spawn cost of your tank and see if you are getting down tier or not. If your starting spawn cost is 100sp. You probably getting full uptier. If its 160sp then you are in a full downtier. This can help you pick the tank that suit the situation. An example would be 4.3 russian line up. If you saw that your 4.3 KV1 cost 100sp. You probably getting full uptier. Know what sit at 5.3? Fkn tiger and panther. If you are really unlucky, both germany and usa on the same enemy team. 4.3 KV1 has like 90mm pen. So, save yourself the pain and dont bring it as you gonna have a hard time penning and your armour mean jack shit againts 5.3 germany gun. Lastly, this more toward the mental side. Be open to learn shit. i got a friend that is relatively new that constantly raging saying some tanks like the KV-1 or Panthers for example are bullshit and OP. Most of it is just the stubbornness to not improve and instead spent the time complaining. The veteran player like myself already know how to deal with these so call "OP" tank.

Be patient, always look around you (C&B), use the minimap, don't fill your tank full of ammunition!

My big tip is be patient and don’t rush in unless you have speed and take your time. Don’t play the game too long or serious brain damage will occur.

as a vet with almost 1,4k h these tips are good but the engines have their own sound and to use the surrounding area to your advantage enemy air support attacking you from behind stop the tank hole by bomb use it as a hull down to engage enemys concrete block on the road use it to hide your lower front armor

Great video but just wanted to say (5k hour player here) I noticed you take a lot of shells and 15 HE shells, I also see a lot of players do this in game too. You should only take what you need around 15-20 shells or 10 if its a gun with a 20+ second reload and take like 2 HE shells just for when there's an opportunity to use it. The game actually puts more shells inside your tank the more you carry meaning its easier for enemies to ammo rack you and kill you in 1 shot. My biggest tip for new players would be to just take it slow, I see way too many people rush and die straight away and a lot of people stress about trying to research fast so try to rush to get kills quickly. Not only does taking your time let you learn where hotspots are and what is going on in the map, you will see a lot more and learn a lot more about all different types of tanks and the biggest thing for players who wanna research, research is based off of time alive like 80-90% of your research in game is time alive so you will also research a lot faster. So it is a win win in my opinion.

you must know about ammo which one has more tnt which one can pen more at angle reload of a tank ranging the binoculars

1k hr player here. Flank, know enemy weak spots, shoot barrels and tracks, use binoculars, use the mini-map, know the hidey-holes on all the maps, and return to hanger if you're facing Russia at 3.7-5.3 (think I'm wrong? I've calculated I have an around 7% win rate over the last year vs Russia).
