Great refresher! Starting my 1st early morning shift at the hospital I got hired with today. Been a month since I last drew blood, and this refreshed my memory! This was so helpful! I learned how to draw blood in an orientation class today for a new job and left feeling confused about how to tie the tourniquet. I want to make sure I have this down before I have any patient interaction and this video helped me improve drastically! I feel much more confident about taking blood now :)

Im a certified Phlebotomist. It's pretty easy to tie a tourniquet. Don't tie it too tight or it can damage the blood sample due to affecting the red blood cells.
