ill never for the life of me understand how a generation raised with all of the worlds information in the palm of their hand 24/7, is also the most ignorant about the type of music they make.

@ never had to my man. it was always a choice. and your argument is self defeating. everyone follows some sort of blueprint. they just follow the drill or trap rap blueprint. my point is, their knowledge of the genre does not stretch beyond what is here today and gone tmw. It’s willfull ignorance. they choose not to look into who influenced who influences them and so forth.

J Dilla was an extension of A Tribe Called Quest and heavily influential in neo-soul, which is "urban". And Em made a movie called 8 Mile. I'm sure he just means the mainstream street hood music.

Tee and helluva "1st day out" open Detroit street music and sound up but you got to give.....MEEK MILL AND BEAT BULLEY CRÉDIT TO ALSO - cause that 1st day out was the Detroit version of meek mill intro off dreams and nightmares that where tee got the ideal from >>>>> tee said that in a old interview 😂🤣🔥🎯💯

I'ma say it 1 more time, the 1artist can't b the WHOLE label. If artist knew the biz, y hire management, an attorney, a marketing department, publicist. 1 person can't play 15 different roles, STOP IT. So by Y'ALL logic DMX should've did EVERYTHING Def jam set him up with. To get a fresh start artist need to stop picking mediocre $50 tracks.😮😮😂😂😂😂😂. Stop it. 😮. U gotta spend to win! It's simple. The people at the top have incredible budgets.. People r too old to not KNOW this.😮
