As an initiator, I love playing support that’s why I chose the role but it does hurt a lil bit when you get a really good piece of utility and your duelist gets 3-4-5 kills and everyone hypes them up like you didn’t get a 5 man blind or stun 😢

I also love playing initiators and yeah sometimes it hurts when you do a good scan or flash pretty good helping to get the kills and not flashing your teammates by doing that gets you nothing but when the duelist gets the last kill they see them as an amazing teammate. Maybe I'm just too low rank for that.

I agree with muscle memory mostly, however changing your sens just a little bit around your main sens can help train you to use your arm more, wrist more, and/or fingertips more

tip 16 is the actual truth! I play KJ on Bind, and often like to setup for A short, and then go play shower, with a turret near so I can peek short off of. I ALWAYS beg my teammates to come double up showers with me, since I have double molly to stall short, and well, the turret to double peek off of if anyone dares making it out. And most people just feel too uncomfortable leaving A short open (even though my kit is holding it) and end up taking a 1v4 fight on a lane already cared for... When realistically, if we double hold shower and stall short, we can deny plant, and have a split retake when B players rotate through CT and heaven. and don't even get me started about Fracture... seeing 1 agent per lane, with Brimstone spawn so he can smoke drives me INSANE!!!! play together people, if they go the lane we aren't watching, then we retake it, TOGETHER!!!!!!

as a reyna autolocker i learned quite a bit actually and agree with his points. I'm guessing you dont know that up until diamond nobody really cares about the outcome of the game including you, and as such nobody is really trying to play "correctly" hence the autolock on a "high performance agent" allowing me to not care even more and have more fun + rank up more into ranks where this actually matters. This was majorly confirmed when i started playing for my college varsity. I stopped playing selfish and started playing other roles and eventually made my way back to reyna because i could actually learn to play her "for" my team instead of "for" me. that said, im still plat 2 so i got a lot of road to cover still, but the above mindset got me from silver-plat 1 so

Tip : don't worry about smurfs It reminds me a game against a smurf jett that we won, me and some random players I am silver, and this smurf is just a full aim no brain We knew he just pushed every round like a bull So every round, we just played against him, and then his team If in the middle of the round he wasn't dead, we stayed together to crossfire him at any time So he almost every round got one kill But got traded almost every round too That's the one time I had fun against a smurf

EDIT: I actually didnt realize how much video was left once I commented this. So it might be mentioned and I havent seen it yet. Something that wasn't really mentioned (unless I zoned out) was the fact that EVERY time a teammate dies, you as a player NEED to think "What angle were they holding and how does that change where I need to look or relocate." - Far too many players continue to hold their own angle instead of thinking about how the map changes once a teammate dies. This is something ive learned over 20 years of tactical shooters.

The Toxic Teammate thing is so true honestly. I'm still unranked but am capable of doing pretty good shots, but this one round we had a REALLY, *REALLY* agressive Sova batter up the whole team with his screaming and insults. He was good at playing and we were leading, but I noticed that I couldn't land a single shot because this guy kept screaming at me for being bad. We ended up giving up the round leading 8 to 7 because we couldn't stand playing with this toxic idiot anymore.

The concept of being able to guide your team through talking by e.g. telling them how they can improve site takes and stuff is very good, but it suffers from the curse of the conditions: - Your teammates need to understand english - Your teammates need to understand basic concepts of the game - Your teammates need to be able to take criticism Seeing as any rank below diamond consists of 90% 11 year old fortnite players and generally just people who act like they are 11, this makes conditions 2 and 3 impossible to fulfil. Now, playing on any server in europe will yield the same result for condition 1: They dont understand english. GG EU Players
