Quick note when you showed the tool tip of avenging wrath. This is actually the tool tip for ret and prot. You get 30% from it as holy not 20% like the other 2 specs

lmao ty so much for making a straightforward and quick guide. The first video i saw was over 1 hour long and was like "Hell nawwww" but thankfully saw this just right under afterwards. I main Protection Paladin and off spec as Retadin here and now again. Wanted to try out some Holy Paladin, was big mess yesterday when I tried out without looking up any guide :´) Lets see if i can do better now after watching this.

Different stat priority, and you could’ve learned everything in this guide by reading your spell book hahaha Watch cdew’s guide, he has it split into sections that to over specific things. Much better than this crap

Do not under estimate Light of the Martyr. Combined with Divine protection, you can essentially just spam tf out of it, while reducing the damage it deals to yourself at the same time. Combined with Aura mastery when in a huge enemy dps team pinch, you can just spam heals for damn near no cost to your own health while rotating your other CDs.

Is this still relevant in 9.1? Or is flash of light used 90% of the time now? Seems to heal for more with less time casting.. and with stuff dying so fast I can’t find good times to use holy light unless I bubble/ult sac or there are 0 kicks available.

A protection paladin with word of glory that heals based on missing health will butcher holy paladin on heal stats and have more hps. When I'm a holy paladin I get out healed by protection paladin nearly every time and when I'm a protection paladin, I never ever have a single time that I get out healed by a holy paladin... Prot paladin doesn't have beacon of faith.... but we have taunt and the hps to live with it and if you are Dranei with Gift of Naaru, night fae with blessing of summer ... your stats will bury holy paladin without even thinking about it. I've even been in games where the holy paladin gave up on healing and tried to do more damage.... still beat him on that too. because spamming flash of light for holy power on beacon target is nothing compared to spaming judgment and blessed hammer to generate holy power.... and holy paladin getting nerfed too ?
