I have had the evo one for 3 months now and it's insane how much oil residue it catches. We go out for weekend trips and I empty after everyone. Do not wait for months at a time. You will be surprised how much is in there. Have a little dixie cup or rags when you start cause it is very oily. Well worth the money even tho I run stock atm. Good vid bro.

Might be good to reposition the hose mount on the Evo So the hose is not a little bent. That way the can is in line with the mounting tube.

just installed EVO catch can on my PRO XP and yeah it gets a lot of residue even after short ride. (Located in North Idaho) well worth the money. my car only has 230 miles on it too.

Some of the blow by oil/water mix ends on the air filter, catch can will keep air filter free of oil

I've been running a catch can before these companies starting making them for UTVs. From my racing day's we always used 1" hoses with hose clamps because AN fittings restrict flow. A single outlet from crankcase into a catch can is actually worse because you are loosing the air draw from the intake. If you're going to run a catch can without a draw setup (exhaust or intake vacuum) you have to tig a 1" aluminum bung on the top of your valve cover and dump into a 2 port catch can or reroute to let it dump like we do with our diesel trucks.

Yea on vetts at work we see catch cans like ur describing obviously better engineered .. Great to keep the carbon buildup from accumulating on intake valves for these direct injections gm gen5 v8 engines. These catch cans do fairly well on these sxs. I think there is alot more pressure exiting due to the boosted application. But ur right a vacuum assisted version would work better. I have an inlet/outlet catch can on my 16 silverado.

Does the EVO come with a filter cover like the RPM? I like the 90 deg inlet of the RPM but the body of the EVO.

Yea they both come with prefilter covers.. yea the rpm 90degree push fitting is nice and clean. The evo has a nice cnc body

l have 22 canam rs turbo i have oil in my air filter and oil in the box catch can help whit this problem

No.. close it or u will have a constant mess of oil spilling on ur frame.. u only open to drain it

Can anyone offer pros/cons with the 3 main ways to run a catch can? 1 venting catch can with filtered vent, plug intake barb 2 plumbed back to the intake with baffle no vent 3 plumbed back with a filtered vent

I installed an evo catch can just like yours on my 2020 rr. But my air filter still gets oil stains. Do you know why? Hose on catch can seem pretty dry

A blow off valve also helps . If u continue ti have excessive oil in filter u may have another issues present
