How did you wire the piano switch? Positive to the battery and ground to the exhaust break?

I wouldnt think so, it shouldnt affect smog since its after the cat converters.... it does make it louder, and im not sure if smog shops can fail it for noise.. not sure tho

I wouldn't think so either. Just making sure. I mean you did have access to a shop so I figured I'd ask. 😂 I just got the Denali switches, the exhaust pipe, all I need is the valve because the one in your description is no longer there.

​@@julianherrera7547 Which denali switch are you using.. one with an aux switch or one with the exh brake button... there are some right ups on the gm-trucks.com forum that go in to detail on how to wire these switches..you will need some terminated leads for the connector that goes to the switch. and if u are using the exhaust brake,, thats a momentary switch so your would need an aftermarket latching relay to control a vacuum solenoid..

I bought the one with the exhaust break. I like how inconspicuous it looks, and considering I want to throw a dizzy switch on it, I figured I could wire that up as well. What aftermarket relay did you buy friend?

Is your truck interior trim wrapped carbon fiber, or replacement panels, or something else to make it look like carbon fiber

Love your vids bro!! Question about the piano buttons you got off the diesel that you talk about in this vid. The plugs on the backside, did they match/correspond with the buttons you previously had? ex: Traction control, cargo light, part assist, etc. Asking because I want to install the adjust pedals from an LTZ to my 2015 LT. This would also include swapping out the piano switch panel to one that had the pedal button, but wondered if the other plugs would match up. Any info would be appreciated bro!

You will have to add terminals to the back of the connector for the corresponding accessory. Each accessory/button has its on terminal/wire.. they are not present. And will need to add them. I highly suggest trying to search for the post on the gm-trucks.com forum. There is alot of info on there on how to do this mod👍

@@GLifeUTV so if I get a switch panel that has everything mine has now but also has the button for the pedal adjustment, then all I will need to add is the terminal for the pedals, correct? All other terminals will be plug and play since the buttons match mine?

I didnt really talk about the switch and how its wired as i wired it a long time ago.. but pretty much this switch panel is off a diesel truck that has the option for the exhaust brake button. The button on the panel is a momentary switch and is only for control. You can use the momentary signal to control a latching relay to control a component (in this case the vacuum solenoid for the exh valve). The factory exhaust brake switch is a momentary switch. Soi have the exhaust brake switch control a latching relay for on and off operation of a vacuum solenoid

They are the trailering mirror cameras.. it is a gm accessory option by echomaster .. they are attched to the side mirrors aiming rearwards.. thanks for watching bro

Sorry. Don't have any detail on it. Its very complicated. But pretty much using latching relays. They are controlled by the momentary presses of the factory switches
