John and Jen's voices really pair perfectly. Skillet does a great job of mixing messages and sound. They're not really a Christian band but are a band of Christians. God isn't directly mentioned too often in their songs, and they normally tour with non-Christian band, but their music is saturated with messages of hope. John Cooper (bass/vocals) and Seth Morrison (guitar) have a side projected called Fight the Fury, and Jen Ledger (drums/vocals) has one called Ledger. Korey Cooper (guitar/keyboard/some vocals/production) often helps out on Ledger. Really should check out their songs Legendary (used to be an anthem for WWE), Not Gonna Die, Ignite, Back to Life, Finnish Line, Rebirthing, Forever or the End (ballad type back and forth with John and Jen)....lot of great ones over the last nearly 30 years.
