Folks you need to stop thinking that YOU CAN ONLY have soul IF you are from the South. I speak 6 languages and in each of these 6 languages there is a special word for the feeling, exprerience and expression of the word called soul. This is done through poetry, song and various other ways of dramatization, the Greeks had it, the Persian had, the Romans had, the us in the modern world have ....REGARDLESS OF GEOGRPAHY.

Elvis and nobody who worked for him had any business sense or acumen. They were uneducated hicks without any business savvy, and there had never been a global superstar before him to lead the way. Elvis really was the first, nobody could guide him. His dad was as far as i can see a bit spineless against the fake colonel, as was Elvis truth be told. Vernon was his business manager and dealt with the fan mail, but he too had no idea and they all relied on tom to know the business. Elvis had the power, but not the backbone, I think to sack the colonel and to put Joe Esposito or Jerry Schilling in place as tour manager, joe was already road manager. Tom wouldn’t have had to be there but he filled Elvis's head with nonsense about security. It made Elvis scared and paranoid that he didnt dare go against his advice. He was a fairly green countryboy.

I thought it was cute when you were first naming the performers in this, you said joe elliott? Only the singer from a tiny unknown band called DEF LEPPARD, they sold a tiny little handful of albums, over 100 million so far, the whole band performed at this concert, they are very good friends of brian may, in fact Brian inducted them into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2019, thank you for the reaction, i watched the entire concert that day!

I have been a fan for more than 60 years and I can tell you Elvis had very complex health issues most people didn’t know about. As a result he took prescription medication The doctor, who was considered an expert on Elvis’ case said that every organ in his body was affected. I miss him still today. RIP Dear Elvis.

Nobody seems to have a problem with Michael Jackson being called the King of pop , or Aretha Franklin being called the queen of soul, or James Brown being called the Godfather of soul ...Why is that ? Yet when it comes to Elvis they reject the title that HIS fans gave him . Elvis didn't call himself the King of rock and roll, his millions of fans around the world call him that . Why are titles like that OK for black performers , but not for a white entertainer ??? THAT'S racist for sure.. Elvis earned that title the same way that the others I've mentioned here earned theirs . Some people need to get off Elvis 's back about that , because they're clearly showing that they are racist . Elvis IS the king of rock and roll and he always WILL BE ! And Elvis never stole ANYBODY'S music either . Covering somebody else's song has always been a common thing with singers , AND STILL IS ! If Elvis is a thief , then almost every other singer is a thief also. What about Three 6 Mafia using IN THE GHETTO in their video ? Does that make them thieves ? ....NO it doesn't , and neither is Elvis !

------------ Yes, can act (check out Wild In The Country or Flaming Star, or Charro). BUT Elvis' 'acting ability' was not the problem, rather it was the garbage movies his manager negotiated for him, and the garbage scripts that the studios supplied. Same for the mediocre/bad songs he was given. But definitely some gems here & there. When the manager & the studios realized they didn't have to supply quality, yet still make money, guess what they did....

This makes me cry. Elvis wasnt a trained singer or musician. Yet his oice matured and grew over his short life, three and a half octave range, he coupsve easily been an opera singer or a preacher. Males me sad how his life went at the end, he didnt deserve the ridicule. He self taught himself rhythm guitar and piano. He produced his songs and accompaniments. Man was so talented, I can't understand the hate thrown at him. And it's always from people who havent bothered to check his work out. He stole nothing, he added and enhanced what was already there and not being heard. He smashed the doors in for everyone, musically, sexually and socially. He should be immortalised and taught on schools for the generosity and life changing help he gave to complete strangers. Wish he'd lived healthier and longer and that we had celebrated him while he was alive. Elvis was even better live than in the studio. He always gave 100% to anything he undertook. Sing Elvis, raise the f***** roof off ❤❤❤❤

Hey!! You’re back! I was just looking for you the other day. Nice to see you again. And yes, that suit is sharp. And his foot/leg work was crazy. I think people confuse bad movies with bad acting. He was actually a very good actor (as seen in the movie King Creole). Post army, they started putting him in silly movies and he became very bored with them. He was offered some very good roles such as West Side Story. Unfortunately his asshole manager turned them down.

Elvis didnt marry a minor she was nearly 22, and he was a fantastic dramatic actor. Unfortunately, he didnt have script approval throughout that whole contract due to his stupid promoter the fake colonel. Elvis took prescription meds for ongoing illnesses throughout his life and had to take more for the effects to be felt. He was also FORCIBLY MEDICATED to keep him alert and performing night after night, year after year for the rest of his life. Elvis didnt deserve the ridicule for his eventual drug addiction (he didn't take street drugs and he rarely drank alcohol) so all the Elvis hate is largely made up and a slander campaign. Nobody knows Bill Burr here, hes just makinf conteoversy to sell show tickets. Elvis was the man, he was black inside and he stole nothing. Listen to the people who knew him BB King, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, John Lee Hooker, Al Green, Cisse Houston, Shirley Bassey. Elvis changed a lot of processes and the way black songwriters got paid for their work. Once a genre is out there or a culture is established anyone can add or take from it. Otherwise Beyoncé shouldn't be singing country, or mixed race people shouldn't identify with either culture they're born into. Absolute rubbish. Elvis respected black artists and he did more than anybody to PULL THEM UP THE LADDER. ❤
