I've actually got the amazing pleasure of both meeting the whole band and watching them live back in 2021. They are not just amazing on stage but off stage as well! The whole band felt like a true family and honestly I couldn't have been more blessed to meet them!

So, let me be clear here; I am not Christian, nor am I American. I'm quite the opposite on my political stance, I live in Sweden which is about as far away from American politics as you can get without stepping into straight up communism. Disheartening to see John having these views. I understand that not only is he a devout christian, but an american one at that. Still, it's 2024, I would've hoped to see some progress to have been made. I do agree that idolizing people like Osama Bin Laden is incredibly messed up. However, the "dragqueen reading for school children" argument, I don't necessarily agree that it's that big of an issue. It merely opens the door for exploration for children, and limiting children from that I don't think is right. Will probably still listen to Skillet here and there, but still, it's incredibly disappointing.
