I find the "boring" testimonies more inspirational than the I was a drug addict etc....because it's so great they didn't have reach that level to see the truth

I was an atheist for many years. God worked on me for quite some time. Not all people are saved out of cataclysmic circumstances. Not all of us can pinpoint the exact moment we came to saving faith. To the casual secular observer, my life was seemingly in order when God saved me, but spiritually, it was chaotic. Salvation is not about “something we did” as a past event. Salvation is about waking up each day and continually trusting in what the Lord Jesus did. My testimony is short, but biblical: I was a lost, wretched sinner. God opened my eyes and gave me the ability to love Jesus, have faith in His blood, and believe in Him. I’m fully persuaded that Jesus was able to accomplish what He came to do; die on the cross to save wretched, lost sinners like me. Great video as always, Brother Kirk. God bless you and your family. 🙏

My testimony is more like John’s- born and raised in church and still going strong. I think it’s a privilege to be an example of God’s faithfulness and that you are able to keep a relationship with Christ for a long time. You don’t have to be in your lowest point in order to turn to Christ.

Thank you for this! I was saved at 8 years old and believed Satan’s lie that my testimony wasn’t as powerful as others’ were. But God showed me it is the same amount of His grace every time someone chooses life over death when they submit their life to Jesus Christ - the only way, the only truth, and the only life ❤️

I was also known God my whole life and put my faith and trust in Jesus since I was very young as well.. My testimony is "God never let me go." Jesus has always been with me as He promised (Matt. 28:20) Also, Skillet was one of the first bands I ever listened to. It started in the "Best Kept Secret" and "Hey You, I Love Your Soul" days! They played at my church when I was around 11. I remember crowd surfing in the sanctuary! haha

Really enjoyed listening. My sister when she was abt 18 got saved. Hadn't seen her girlfriend for a few years after high school. They used to ditch school, smoke pot, etc. One day her girlfriend called her up n invited my sister to her church. She went to her church n her friend explained 'salvation'. My sister got 'saved' n believe it or not she was on 'FIRE' for Jesus n we didn't, understand what happened to her.Talking n talking abt JESUS. Our family, we were 'devout' Catholics. My sister's 'born-again' experience was SOO real, we couldn't understand her JOY. I was the 1st one who got saved 1 year later in 1978 n actually, I was the 'good' daughter. I came to the Lord by her witnessing n praying for me. Our brother n other sister were also ditching n smoking pot. In time we were all in Christ, including mom, dad had already passed away. Today, we still serve the Lord. Oh, mom passed away 8 years ago to meet the Lord. Hallelujah, Praise God.🙏

I've been waiting for you to interview John Cooper! Love him bc of his outspoken truths for the Christian faith and how to handle or view today's culture. He is very intelligent, well spoken and respectful! Love these two men ❤️ ❤️

My pastor reprimanded me (rightly so) for saying I have a boring testimony. I was rebelling against our holy, creator God! And He made a way for me to be saved! That's no boring testimony. It is an amazing thing to go from death to life, not matter how it happens.

I really wish I'd been raised by Christian parents. Having that foundation would, I suspect, have saved me from so much sin and misery. Nevertheless, God is so good. He pulled me out of the muck and the mire and saved my wretched soul.

Just watched his concert in St. Louis with Winter Jam 2022! It was awesome! He tore that bass up! And the drummer was the best I've ever seen! You could see the joy in their faces!

Wow thank you for sharing this, also for all the amazing commentaries here! And thank you Lord for leading me to this video in order to better understand the eyes of your heart. It has deeply touched me. I always thought mine was not exciting enough for people to listen to, but now I have realized how precious my testimony is in God's eyes. And we better look through His eyes than ours, always a much healthier and wholesome perspective!

My is a mix of growing up in church & also drinking & smoking from a very young age, studied every religion & argument out there becuse I never doubteld Gods existence, or Jesus's life, death & resurrection, I knew all the rules didn't make sence, & the churchs definition of heaven & hell was really messed up, so I went to find truth anywhere it might be. But I to this day struggle with the relationship aspects.

My testimony for the story of Jesus Christ. The story of Jesus destroyed my world. I've witnessed first hand what the bible did to my friends and family and nation. It turned good decent people into hate filled monsters. What has happened to my loved ones and the deadly divide in my nation could never have happened without the lie of Jesus Christ because once you can believe one lie you can believe them all which 74 million have.

Jesus Christ is the truth. He is love, he is life, he shed his blood so that we could live, through his burial and ressurection. Those things happened because of false things in religon, not Jesus.
