The fact that i played this song for my girlfriend over VR chat 3 years ago...it just floods my mind with all of these memories. I had recently played this song about a month ago for my family because they wanted to hear the song that i had sang to my lover 3 years ago and it went perfectly. Skillet is amazing...and nothing could ever change my mind about that.

I don't know if you've told him yet, but if not you should, even if he doesn't reciprocate your feelings I don't think you'll offend him or lose him. Honestly if I was the bloke in a situation like this I would find it very flattering as we don't get many compliments and noticing and valuing these qualities will make his week, month hell maybe even his year. I would also recommend trying to tell him in a fairly private place as personally I don't know how I would react in that situation in a public place in front of others. Also as a pre warning if he is surprised it could be due to him not picking up signs (we can be pretty blind sometimes) or he could have been too nervous to act on these signs.

I rarely put anything on here but I take the lyrics so differently . I think it's not about a relationship between a women and a man it's the relationship between you and god. If I get a boyfriend at school, he'd probably dedicate this song to me. I used to be an expert at pretending everything's okay, but I've been revealing a bit more these days by being more quiet in class, making sure the teacher is fine with me sitting in the back, sitting alone at lunch, etc. No, I'm not suicidal or anything, but I'm rather still thinking about a lot going on my childhood--such as attempted suicide after being diagnosed with epilepsy at 8 and being on medicine that fucked up my behavior, living in a town full of criminals that caused me paranoia everynight, being bullied in school for my autistic behaviors (which I've been trying to fight these days), and everything. Plus, don't forget my dad's death in 2015 from brain cancer. I know they say to let go of the past, but in my terms, I don't believe it; my childhood is the only thing in my life that is heavily still weighing me down. I guess if I look ahead of that future, I can say that I'm hoping to go to a 4-year college to get a degree in special education teaching to teach other students that are on the autism spectrum, like I was and still am, or whatever. I guess it makes me feel happy that it's awesome for a special needs student, at the moment, wishing to teach others falling in the same category of getting extra help, just like I am now at my current school. But a lot of my past is also restricting me from achieving that goal, just because it's stressing me out.
