This is a song that's hard for me to hear, but helps remind me of just how far I've come. Today I have 4yrs 6mo clean time from a nasty pain pill addiction. I used to lay in my shower, sick, crying out to God. "Save me or take me, please, I'm so sorry" and He did come for me. This song was one I would play on repeat for hours, sometimes days. It wasn't immediate, because He knew I wasn't ready. But once I hit my knees, admitted my defeat and started to help myself, there He was. He had been there the whole time... I am so thankful to have been saved. I love my God and I love this beautiful song. 💜

I made my first solo trip to south america about a week ago and this song helped me to remember that God cares about therefore He is with me, when i was a teenager i suffered from panic attacks and anxiety, the thought of diying was constantly in my head, so i wanted to be in my house, with my parents all the time, cuz i felt safe however i was getting worse but God helped me and deliver me from that fear, and with this trip I saw the hand of God with me the whole time even when those thoughts wanted to come back He was there reassuring me that everything was gonna be fine and so it did! God is Good all the time!

This was one of the only songs my grandma liked from this band and she really loved it. My grandma had a major stroke in my arms in March of 2019 and died pretty horrifically 4 days after that and I continued playing this song through those last couple days and after she died this song was a God-send with processing the grief through that horrible experience. I still listen to this song when life just feels hard. God is good and I strongly feel music is something that can help us with our walk with the Lord.

I've been struggling with my mental health recently, and I just can't seem to control myself, my anxiety has forced me to hide from the real world and forget about everything. But whenever I hear this song, something inside me hits me. I know some people aren't big believers but this song impacts me to continue to look up in front of me and continue to have faith to move on. I was in a similar boat two years ago. I was raised in the church, went every Sunday and youth group on Wednesday. I couldnt find myself believing in a God, especially not in the modern world, not with how life is, not with the church either. God chases us as individuals and Hope's to nurture the relationship as such. I pray he continues to pull at your heart. I pray that you see a beauty in life worth protecting, I pray you realize that's God working in you. Religion isnt perfect, the church isnt perfect, people aren't perfect, but God is. I read the book "The Shack" seven years after my brother was murdered. It brought me out of the valley that I was stuck in. Then the movie came out and this song says it all. It speaks volumes to to the healing.

I was involved in an accident. A girl suddenly cross the highway from out of nowhere. She was hit and crashed at my windshield. She was taken to the hospital but she passed away after 2 days in intensive care. I was responsible for the accident and 3 days after the incident my uncle died due to a cardiac arrest. My life that year was so dark and lonely. Full of pain and suffering. I was listening to this song while I was in the police station and waiting for my arraignment. I prayed that hoping it was just a dream but it's real. The family of the girl we talked and I said sorry and ask for their forgiveness even though I can't forgive myself. We had amicable settlements. They didn't file a case against me and they do understand that it was an accident. Nobody wants or asked to be involved in something awful. Love this song it helps me through the dark times of my life.

I just recently lost my dad. One of my biggest memories with him was going to your guys concert. It was my first and last with my dad. After that night this was our song. No matter where we were going we always listened to this. This was our song and everytime I listen to it, it brings back all of those memories and I wnated to thank you guys for this. We were told by the doctors he was doing good and he would be going home in a couple of day. Last week, I unexpectedly lost a close friend. Her and I would chat every morning about our day and every day after I got back from work. This song is what I was listening to the exact moment I accepted Jesus into my life and I was saved. God has used all of you in so many amazing ways and touch so many people including myself and to literally save my life because I was on a path eventually leading to suicide. I was cursed with constant almost daily suicidal thoughts since I was a teenager. I was raised as a Christian but I became angry at God over the years and blamed Him. When I reached my lowest point when I wasn't sure I could carry on I reached out to God and asked Him to come back into my life. He healed me of this mental illness and it has been almost 4 years since the last time I wanted to kill myself.

Alex Re Actually, Skillet calls themselves a Christian band. I've been to a concert of theirs where they professed that, as well as seen many interviews. There's nothing wrong with listening to music that agrees with your beliefs, especially since a lot of rock and metal doesn't necessarily concur with Scripture. Please allow people to enjoy music that agrees with scriptural principles because it's hard to find, and if that's all people want to listen to, please respect that that's the music they enjoy!
