I use to play in a band with John before he started Skillet (a band called Seraph). We've been friends since we were teenagers, and let me tell you...he's still the same crazy guy. What you see is what you get. He's always been this way...even when we weren't famous. The only difference now is that he has tattoos. When he lived at home with his Dad, he wasn't allowed to look like a rockstar...lol.
