It's possible that it's what is left of the many structures that once existed. Structures that once looked grand and magnificent when they were freshly made. At the end of the demo, I couldn't help but feel intrigue, sympathy, curiosity and other mixed feelings which are difficult to explain fully. The music, combined with nostalgia to the Maze Runner trilogy, the Divergent trilogy and the hunger games movies. Others have felt the same about the three movie franchises. Along with aliens. In your own opinion, what do you think about the game?

What a captivatingly powerful intro! Also a very creative and original idea for a game! The voice acting in that intro was extremely well done! It really hit the human feels and grabbed my attention and did not let go until it ended, which personally I think if more games had intros like this it would make them that much better to play! This is like a freaky, beautiful marriage of so many different sci-fi and alien concepts/designs and I'm all here for this! I'm so curious about this storyline too! Also, 24:58 I noticed that too! I had to actually rewind because I wasn't sure if I was hearing what the captions were showing. A very clever and subtle little wordplay there, regardless if it was intentional or not. P.S. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't call yourself a Jedi and make lightsaber sounds when you got your sword. 😂

This is strange. The city feels like _Divergent_ meets _Hunger Games_ and _Maze Runner,_ with some visuals from _Alien_ and the Black Speech of _LotR_ thrown in.

This reminds me a lot of "Let it Die". Weird rundown tower in the middle of nowhere. Prison-like atmosphere. Kind of an MMO roguelike. PVE arena. Soulsborne combat. I like this very much.

Okay the slugs and zenomorph like creatures was also in a game played by Fooster and Fisk, named Special Forces. Does both the game have some correlation?

I think you’re thinking of Exome probably. They aren’t related. Both games probably used the same creature models purchased from a game assets storefront like the Unity Assets Store. Artists, Animators, and 3d modelers will put their work up on storefronts like this for developers to purchase the rights to use. Play or watch enough indie games and you’ll start seeing environments, objects, and creature assets that are the same between some of them.

Very intriguing looking game! I liked the word "stumble" over summit/submit as you said... but I'm far more concerned & intrigued about the oopsie made at 27:10 "Prisoner 9271" when subtitles (& earlier in the game) we are called Prisoner 9220. Either a mistake in the demo like w the floor numbers maybe? Or aliens not good at numbers, or an intriguing slip-up suggesting they don't know which prisoner we are, or we have been recycled back into this tower project so many times (w a new number every time) that they are losing track of our current number... maybe they have less human prisoners than we are led to believe? The theories from that one slip-up could go on & on 🤣

The devs are French so I’m sure that at this stage in development there’s probably a couple translation hiccups to work out before release. I think the floor mixup was just the devs leaving out floor 2 from the demo. Not sure though and just my guesses on these things.

yo i just started the video this looks dope! also random, but did you ever play a game as a kid called Dino Defender? early 2000’s pc game where youre sent to Isla Nublar (the island from jurassic park) and your job is to return the dinosaurs back to their sectors and turn the power back on and secure the park. randomly just remembered it, wondered if you had ever played it as a kid too. anyways, much love man, love the videos as always💯

Great stream of a fantastic-looking game. Subscribed because of your wit and humor while playing. To answer your question regarding how mankind lost against the aliens if we were all as badass as the character you played, I think any space fairing race would find it rather simple to bring along a few large space rocks with them and mass-driver them onto our planet. Most of us would be gone before they even had to make landfall. I look forward to watching you stream this game when it releases and I've wishlisted it on Steam so I can enjoy it myself.

weird the boss xenomorph looks like the night walkers on Sketchys Contract i hope they were only using it as a model and they make there own enemy's and all three Monters were used in the game EXOME

The most likely answer for this is that creature model is sold for game development use on a marketplace like Unity Asset Store. Once you watch or play a lot of indie games you will start to notice popular environment, object, and creature models being used in numerous games. Usually purchasing a license to the asset allows you tweak coloring, animations, size, etc some for your game.
