Skimboarding Down a Massive Tarp

‪@AdrienRaza‬ and Friends roam around Oahu in search for some out of the ordinary places to skim. This is Part 1 of two. We will be posting the next video we filmed with Adrien next week! As always, thank you for watching our videos and hopefully we inspire you to get to sliding! You don't even need an ocean, so no excuses now! Traveling with Adrien is really fun because when the waves go flat he still has plenty for us to do. There are no down days when he is around. It is always go go go!

When I lived in San Diego in the 80's we used to go out at night and surf the ice plant on the side of the freeways when it rained or we knew what time the sprinklers came on. Usually went pretty good until you hit a sprinkler head. You would use an old beater boogie board but on your knees in case you hit something you didnt want your face or hands to get trashed

Didn't they film there jurassic parc ? Skimboarding is really nice. I tried it and afterwords I had miniscus surgery, although im pretty good in snowboarding, skating and so on. This year wanna do again. Its fun to watch your videos. Greetz from Germany.

hey in Maunawili is a gutter with four drops we call it the four humps .... four drops and a long slide under road to two foot drop into continuation of stream . have you tried it ??? all the way in back neighborhood theres another single but longer transition slide a little further up road it also goes under bridge this used to be way to maunawilli falls pond 35 50 foot jumps into pond . well Aloha DSC777

they can be but that's a water reservoir and that's the liner. "Waimanalo Reservoir was built in order to help with irrigation in Waimanalo, and serves approximately 126 acres of agricultural land in the area"

I thought the ponds were no longer allowed to have the tarps surrounding them like this because animals fall in and can't get out so they drown. Then people play in it not knowing it's got dead animals in it so they get sick. I guess you government doesn't worry about silly things like that lol

Nah, the liner is anchored at the top via trench/backfill. It’s the only way the membrane can hold it’s structure. That’s why they fence them off and put up warning signs lol The truly rotten ones will usually have bird netting across the entire top. Usually.
