For anyone thinking you only have to worry about melanoma their are other terrible moles also. At the age of 5 my daughter developed a very small blueish black mole on her temple.I took her to the doctor for an earache and he said this mole needs to come off now! It was a blue nevi and usually don't start changing until late puberty but hers had and they had to go back and take out more tissue. I thanked that Dr. For saving her life. At age 42 I had a very ugly black mole show up suddenly in my arm pit and the Dr took it off and when the biopsy came back he said it would have been melanoma. My sister who is a family physician had been born with a small brown mole on her call when she was about 40 she noticed a red ring around it and they removed it, she had to have more tissue removed and the surgeon said if it would have been 6 weeks longer her treatment protocol would have been a totally diffrent story !

I would ask for a copy of the biopsy result. It sounds like you had a amelanotic melanoma. And for a sentinel lymph node biopsy you’re at least a T1b,and they would inject a dye around the mole and see where it drains to and only take those nodes. Wishing the best for you. I subscribed to follower your story. 🌹

Thank you for figuring out "amelanotic" for me! I think that's what it was and I've had such a hard time trying to describe my mole to my mom. I'm definitely going to request a copy of my biopsy result and see if I can learn more. My dermatologist is pushing for a sensual lymph node biopsy so hopefully that goes well and my lymph nodes are clean. Thanks for following Kaki!

please turn to Jesus He loves you very much, He is the God of miracles, i was ill for a long time, but the doctors couldn't really help me, i don't blame them there was only so much that they could of done for me, Then Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, God has done amazing things in my life and in the life's of people i know and love, He can do the same for you and yours, When you need Him call on Him, The bible tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, He is the God of comfort and will be there for you when you call on Him, He will protect you, God saved someone i love from an illness leading to death, There is nothing impossible to God, Its as simple as accepting Jesus, and Trusting Him for your Salvation, He is the healer of the body and Saviour of our souls, And if you truly seek Him Jesus will answer you, i know this because He answered me when i called out to Him,

Yes I know I was VERY naïve thinking that if I ever got skin cancer they could just cut it off no big deal, but I didn't about how terrible it would be if it spread before it was removed. That was my biggest mistake! I'm glad I had this wakeup call now before I added decades more of sun time without sunscreen and caused even more damage!

Next month wow :0. I hope they can do your WLE and SLNB soon. What was your breslow depth and mitotic rate?
@nikkiboyd20555 жыл бұрын
Yes the WLE & SLB are the main focus right now! I know my dermatologist actually wasn't able to go deep enough in her shave biopsy to know how deep it actually goes so I won't know the full depth until the WLE. But I have an appointment in about a week with my dermatologist to go over the rest of the biopsy so I'll have to find out the mitotic rate!

Reading the bible out loud healed my neck, made my bones , joints and whole body feel very much stronger too. I believe it can heal anything so never forget daily bible reading out loud for a few minutes or more. Look up healing scriptures online or maybe all the bible is healing I don't know. Pray every day in Jesus' name and always Tithe faithfully, it can heal so much.

what happened with the one on your butt that was very dark
@nikkiboyd20554 жыл бұрын
Hi Maryam! It was actually on my front right hip bone. It was removed and biopsoed and the biopsy results were normal. The mole didn't even grow back so now I just have a small, faint scar
