Any treatment, chemical peel, potato scrub/homemade peel... anything else..it just reduces intensity of the spot. Very rarely one tiny spot may fade..the problem is generated from inside and we focus on outer skin treatment. Sorry to say but none of these will give desired results..just lightening in few cases.

I am currently having dermapen treatment in Kaya Clinic Oroubah.. I do not know but after my 1st session of derma pen, I noted a discoloration on my cheeks. It actually appeared after the lidocaine cream was wiped off on my face. I thought it will disappear after sometime, but upto now the discoloration is still obvious and it is starting to bother me. It is the reason why I got to watch this video because I typed on the search engine "can local cream anesthesia cause skin discoloration?" my doctor is Dr Dina and to be honest, I am actually not satisfied with the way she did my first session.. it has no sequence, not even and was very fast. She did not seem to care about the details on how it is going. I hope my concern can be addressed as I write a comment here. After all, the price I paid for it was not cheap.

Melasma requires long term treatment. First and foremost start with a sunscreen of SPF 30. Apply it liberally all over the face and reapply every 2 hours. Sun protection is the most important aspect of treating melasma. If you are out in harsh sun, make sure you carry an umbrella or cover your face whenever possible. Skin lightening creams are helpful in melasma. There is an agent called hydroquinone which is effective in lightening the dark spots on the skin. But this agent has to be used under the supervision of a dermatologist only. There are certain creams containing vitamin c, kojic acid and arbutin which can also fade the dark spots. These are safer. There is a drug called tranexamic acid which can help in reducing pigmentation. It needs to be taken for 3 - 6 months. You can discuss this option with your doctor. If you want a faster relief, there are some chemical peels which can lighten melasma. This is best done by a qualified doctor. Remember that melasma requires a long term treatment. There is no single treatment which suits all. You have to be patient and consistent with the treatment.

The most important aspect of preventing the worsening of freckles is sun protection. Start with a sunscreen of SPF 30. Apply it liberally all over the face and reapply every 2 hours. If you are out in harsh sun, make sure you carry an umbrella or cover your face whenever possible. Freckles has be improved with Nd:YAG laser treatment. You might require multiple treatments if they are dark and extensive. You will have to use effective sun protection and skin lightening creams to prevent recurrence after the procedure.

My brother visited kaya for some skin problem called peripheral perpura etc. Which is in Pune, near Baner_ Aundh That Dr. xyz. Not even taken efforts to touch him, he diagnosed wrong. Also given steroids hi dosage..40mg twice in a day... Which was not at all required... later we visited another dr. In Columbia hospital. She treated him in right way n with right diagnose.... Guys I do have dark pigmentation on nose. I had taken treatment earlier. Yeah after using cream(steroids) the outer layer skin will peel off but once it is stoped they will reapear extending to new area..consultation fee is high, medicine cost high..only Dr and chemist making money..I don't think there is permanent solution...
