I think I may have AN like skin darkening around folds, back of the neck, knuckles, knee, etc. The dark skin in these areas is always velvety and thick it is very disgusting to look at. Therefore I was considering full-body skin brightening to even out my skin tone. Next week or maybe next month I am planning to visit GP for a proper check-up to see if it really is AN. people who may have similar conditions could you please comment about how you have dealt with this problem or are currently dealing with this. NOTE: I will try skin brightening may be in the next 2 years not currently as I am still a minor and I have to save money too. Or if I don't see any improvement after visiting the Dr.

The reason why Koreans have white skin is not because of such whitening, but because they have less melanin pigment genetically. The color of the skin in Southeast Asia and the color of the skin in East Asia are naturally different. Because the latitude is different. Asia is not all the same Asia. Koreans don't whitening. Koreans are just white from birth. So don't think that whitening will whiten your skin like Koreans. The skin color doesn't turn white anyway. Love your skin color. Love yourself. Koreans also love the color of their natural white skin.

What you said is true but not all Koreans have lighter skin. Many have darker skin which is great. Everyone is free to choose what they want but if you want to even out your pigmentation skin whitening injections are found in every skin clinic in Seoul and the treatment is very popular. The treatment evens out the pigmentation to the lighter shade. It's called skin whitening but it doesn't turn your skin white, it evens out your pigmentation.
