I can highly recommend the ordinary lash serum without prostaglandins. It really does work on me and on my friends!! Regarding granactive retinoid, it is poorly stiludied, but the ordinary has great one which i like for my neck and eyes. Really super gentle and fast absorbing

Hi Penny! really looking forward to your new microneedling videos! Questions I am interested in - 1) if I do circulat motion how long /how many times to go through the area (area considering a forehead). Clauda glows from YT did a demo on the banana how dragging was creating more cracks on the skin that circular, thus I wanted to do it circular, but then I don't know how much/ how many passes..2) After microneedling my skin is peeling for a week. When can I introduce retinols and AHA's (at least 3 % glycolic)? If it is still peeling/ shedding I suppose I cannot apply AHA on top? I guess after 6 days I will do so even if the leftovwers of the skin are still on the face. We need more info about the detailed after care when it comes to tretinoi, AHAs, C and Copper peptides after microneedling!:) 3) how many times to do the stamping sequence on the undereyes? ( i do stamping since that area is so delicate) but now sure how much is too much...? thank you!

Sun shields: I’ve been using Sovis and they were 3rd party tested for efficacy the last I checked. They’re much more comfortable (Bluestones are shaped weird) and they don’t leave weird patterns though they all create a bit of a line from the seam which is inevitable. You can try adding the forehead cushion thing from Eric Javits which helps reduce the line.

Since the early 80s I have carried a lip brush in my bag. Always retractable, I think the bigger brush might be a bit tricky/annoying to get the cap on without catching the brush hairs. Really cute though.

@@mariamerriman3145 The consistency is super hydrating and leaves your under eyes so soft by morning. Fine lines are minimizing and that makes me super happy as well. For reference I will be 60 next month and I have always taken care of my skin. Using good products with wonderful ingredients is the key! I have learned by dermatologist what to look for and they have never led me astray! I use other products from this brand as well! I don’t necessarily believe the most expensive is best! Ingredients as I stated are the key to beautiful skin!

OK, Penny, you've finally convinced me that I should try microneedling again. So far I've used Qure and a roller one, the first 3 times and the latter just once. I just haven't enjoyed the process enough to keep doing it. I have an Airshot from Medicube I use about once a week and like the results, but I understand Dr. Pen is deeper and thus more effective, plus customizable for different parts of the face. Just ordered and will try the first time on Saturday.

The thing is, I would actually use it because it didn't hurt that much and doesn't need to be disinfected since doesn't touch skin. But I may use this monthly and keep using the airshot weekly.

Speaking of new protocols would you mind doing one on hyperhydrosis? I would love a video or protocol on facial and scalp hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). It seems like a niche problem but i honestly think it is a problem a lot of people deal with - at least during summer. 😅 I really think your nuanced take would be life-changeing because because even though I did find some videos by dermatologist about hyperhydrosis i have NEVER found anything about how to intergrate anti-perspirant into an aready existing routine. The info i found for some reason basically works under the assumption that if you have hyperhydrosis that is your SOLE skinconcern (like i want anti-ageing i want to fade pie and i am sure i am not the only person with facial hyperhydrosis that has other skincocerns) some things i am curious about: 💦Is there any connection/correlation between accelareted ageing of the skin and the use of antiperspirant on the face or hairloss if you use it on the scalp (not sure if anti-perspirant can be used on face i could find the most info about weaty pits, hands and feat and then a small amount about face but i could barely find anything on what i can do for a sweaty scalp)? 💦When i use aluminum chloride, Aluminium sesquichlorohydrate (or another aluminum-based anti-perspirant) i always wonder if there are any skincare products or actives you can't use along with anti-perspirant in the same routine? or if the only potential problem is risk of increased irritation? 💦Can i just do short contact therapy with anti-perspirant? (and does that mean you can use actives in the same routine because both products are technically not on the skin at the same time?) (a lot of anti-perspirant only work if used daily but Aluminium sesquichlorohydrate can work for a few days but unfortunately it is not very effective/strong) 💦 I hope you will share your thoughts on it since i trust your opinions and that you will give a more nuanced take on incorporatin anti-perspirants into your skincare routine :D Hopefully you could do an hyperhydrosis protocol that also adresses how to combine it with other skin concerns like acne or anti-ageing or hyperpigmentation or other common skin concerns :D Also i am really happy you mentioned vitamin D deficiancy in your video on hairloss. I had been a bit worried my hair was permanently thinner because i had some health things a coupe of years ago and though my hair got thicker i never felt it became as thick. Then i recently got told i have low vitamin D which i have had a couple of times (at this point i just think my body absorbs vitamin d poorly) so instead of looking into regain and such i will focus on getting my vitamin d levels up and see where that takes me.

Speaking of microneedling books, have you checked out the one by Anthony Kingston, Holistic Microneedling? Also, I know you're working on hair with minoxidil, but have you heard of something called anagain? It's supposed devised of pea sprouts. It supposedly is better at addressing hair loss due to stress, aging, or nutritional deficiencies. Something else I saw says after you reach your hair goals after 18-24 months, you don't have to use it forever. I believe another product with that HPR is Skin Rocks but I don't think they they have an eye serum.

Oh thank you! I have on giraffe eyeshadow single from Chantecaille and thrive mascara in crystal (brown). I think I also used a tiny bit of the merit single eyeshadow in blue (or navy? Naval? It’s the only blue one) as a very thin line at the lashes 😊

i have a bluestone sun shield - I think it’s fine. To me it’s not really meant to be worn for a long time. Honestly any sun shield would start to get hot underneath. What I use it for are those times when I’m doing a procedure at a derm office and I need a clean no sunblock face. Or after a laser driving home. Visibility is fine. But I would not be using any sun shield at the beach or poolside. Way too hot and stifling.

Suggestion for sun shade: Have you tried a thick sweatband (when playing sports) to protect from that texture? If you’re in the sun when wearing the sun shade, would help with the sweat too 😅

This video is 🔥💯💪🏽!!Ty! Quick couple questions. The Dr. Pen M8 I purchased off amazon pulls my skin at 2.5 depth and random speeds. I used plenty of HA so wondering what I'm doing wrong or if this possibly isn't an authentic pen. I never checked back then cause I wasn't aware I was able to but will now going forward. I'm just really upset that I couldn't even mn at 2.5 or 2.0 with a 16 cartridge without it pulling at my skin. It wouldn't glide at all despite the HA being used. The other question is why are there dermatologists stating mn is a big no for their practice because they have clients.that come back with hyperpigmentation, scarring(all the things it'supppsed to help with)& messed up skin from MN & that it doesn't build collagen. It was really upsetting to hear them say this. If that's due to poor technique then they should address that rather than an overall statement that MN just doesn't work. I trust your opinion and thoughts on this & would really appreciate it. Thank you for this amazing video🔥❤️🔥❤️👏👏!!

So the BOJ is one of my current PM eye creams. The BOJ is retinaldehyde (which I love) and I use it 2 times a week. It is excellent. Huge tube, good for the entire face and affordable. For me, I can’t use the BOJ more than 2 times a week or else my under eye gets dry. I do love it when I use it infrequently 😁

Penny , what did you suggest using to remove lipstick , lip glosses that are effective but isn’t harsh ? I’ve been using scotch tape strip off any kind of balms or glosses I use and it’s very effective but I’m wondering if all that pulling off will eventually thin my lip skin …what do you think ?

I too bought the BlueStone Sunshield from a different source; unfortunately I had the same impression pattern as well for about an hour. I wish they would make it more comfortable and practical.

Hi Penny. I’m curious to know if I should replace my derma roller? I just started doing this 2 weeks ago,…I guess the real question is can i get the same results from a derma roller as opposed to micro needling pens? Also, first time I used it, (0.50mm KOI) i followed the directions perfectly, but saw no redness, no dryness no flakiness. I’m wondering if worked?!

OK, I found this all a little creepy at times because I like to get ready while watching videos like this and as you’re talking about the little lipstick, brush, and what it can be good for, at that moment, I was using it to apply a very very light concealer to my eye hollows. It’s perfect for that. Then when you got to the lip stain, I was using that exact one to re-create a higher lip line on my upper left side. It works perfect for that. So it was just a very strange feeling to have you talking about products right at the moment that I was using them. 😂 To anyone who reads this comment I highly recommend those lips stains. They are perfect for the mature woman to even out the edges of your lips. And you can probably pick one that matches the tone of your lips so that you can’t even tell you’re wearing it. That’s what I did. I’m using the mauve color. 💕
