The Paula's choice 2% bha exfoliant is indeed on the pricier side, but if you use it smartly, it lasts a veery long time. Mine is already almost one year old and I haven't finished it yet. With 2 people using it regularly ( 2-3 times a week). So: don't put it on a cotton bud, just straight up on your face and blend it in. 2 drops cover the whole face

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA is a HOLY grail for me. It is the only product that has transformed my pores and skin texture. IMO I would rather spend my skincare budget on this product and buy affordable cleaning balms, cleansers, and moisturizers. I’m serious, that product is my skincare weapon. I can’t go a night without it!

Re: the salicylic acid, I actually prefer PC precisely because it doesn't have all those other actives or long list of ingredients. I purposely do my lactic or glycolic separately from my salicylic. Also, I like that it has the green tea for calming.

I'm not sure if she's actually used it or if she's just looking at the ingredients and saying which one is "best". The latter feels like it's not a fair comparison if she's never used it. 🤔 Totally agree with you. I just want an acne clearing product. I don't need all the extra stuff that's going to clog my pores. I use other skincare on the days I don't use the PC AHA/BHA. As far as price point goes, Paula's Choice has coupon codes all the time for discounts. Not to mention the Nordstrom anniversary sale had a jumbo 8oz size on sale this summer.

You can't measure how much snail is in the product by the percentage of mucin filtrate quoted. A 3% filtrate could have a higher amount of snail than a 90% filtrate because they're just that. FIltrates. So, depending on how theyre extracted and purified and made, each brand's filtrate has different amounts and quality of snail. COSRX probably has a higher percentage of actual snail, leading to the price difference.

@@nayaa_xx1119 I have sensitive/combo skin and I get redness and sensitivity around my cheeks which is where I concentrate the product, I find that it doesn’t make me oily at all as it’s a very lightweight texture, and it’s not exactly sticky but more like stretchy? If that makes sense lol. I love the snail mucin, I’ve been using it for 6 months and definitely noticed an improvement in my skin’s levels of redness and also texture! Hope that helps 💖

The Peach Slices snail rescue toner is one of my favorite new products. I kept slathering it on because my moisture barrier was all messed up and I had broken out. Snail is an amazing ingredient and I didn't realize how much my skin would love it. It does all the right things. Getting another bottle of it and definitely their acne toner now.

Enjoyed the video! Two recs to put on your radar in light of these products: 1) the Elf Happy Hydration cream is also excellent. Hemp oil based w Niacinamide & peptides. Great price, lovely texture. (Very similar to the Sisley cucumber moisturizer, if you’ve ever tried that.) 2) for a cleaning balm, you should also try the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing balm. It’s even cheaper than good molecules, fragrance free, & rinses right off. I love it

I don't entirely agree with the cosrx dupe. First the price is much cheaper if you get it from a Korean retailer like Stylevana where its about $14. The formulas are very different with the cosrx being much more viscous while the PS is more fluid. And personally my skin doesn't tolerate low molecular weight hyaluronic acid so the 3 types in the PS without allantoin is a negative for me.

Terrific reviews. I use Cos de Baha. It is $9.99 for 2oz. It is thick but dissolves quickly. I not sure if the ingredients are the same or not as the Inkey. Have you heard of this one? What is the ph level for the dupe for PC BHA? Is it listed on the bottle or have you tested it with test strips? If the pH is not correct you might as well not even bother using it. It won’t work as an exfoliant. I think this is an important piece that is often missed in products and reviews. However some products like good molecules and the ordinary do list the pH on the box. If you have any information on this dupe it would be great if you could share it.

What's the deal with Ordinary hype in the USA? It's too strong for any skin barrier. The best skin cream I ever used was La Prairie platinum face cream. I can’t rationalize spending $900 on my face cream so if you could find a dupe for that I’d be incredibly grateful.

Are the PC and Peach Slices ok to use for dry skin as well??
