things I’ve learned: 1. Satin retains the oils from your hair, that is why it is preferred over sleeping on cotton. The downside is that when you tie it to your forehead or don’t change your pillowcase often enough, it causes pimples. 2. Change your sheets at most once every two weeks. More often, if you sweat a lot, as this causes breeding of bacteria and facial/body acne 3. If you have body acne, treat it the same as your face. Carry the serums down to those areas. Shower with acne washes in those areas. 4. Don’t use towels on your face. They harbor bacteria if not washed at least once every two days. I prefer paper towels or air dry. Hope this helps!

Hey dimma. Great video but for the pores thing. Pores don't necessarily shrink or open up because they aren't a muscle. They are filled with sebum which loosen up with heat/steam which gives the illusion of it opening

I had serious hyperpigmentation and melasma after my third baby 2years ago. It was so bad I would cry sometimes. Thank God the melasma and hyperpigmentation has started to resolve since Dec. last year, But acne break out is a big issue am still dealing with right now so this was very helpful. Thanks Dimma

I use my body lotion for my face and I've never had any break out from using the lotion. The period I had the break outs was when my cycle changed and when I did a tight hairstyle. And it got solved after I lose the hair three days after. I exfoliate like once a week or twice depending on certain situations with at less five days gap. In all, I think we should understand how our body reacts to everything around us. Ps. It's best to wash your face with your hands. Not everyone reacts the same way to satin pillow covers but we should all do away with tight hairstyles or wraps Thanks Dimma for the video

Thanks dimma for this tips. For me exfoliating twice a week really does help my skin, my skin is usually dry and rough when i exfoliate once a week. I use clarins skin care range and they work really well for my sensitive skin. Another tip I'll add is if you have sensitive skin / acne prone skin try using more of plant based skincare range as they are a lot less harsh on the skin, I hope this helps someone

Satin/Silk is actually better for both your hair and skin. I'd say the problem is the transfer of hair oils and products unto the fabric, and then your face. Am I the only one that NEVER, and I say NEVER lay on my pillows without wrapping my head first? Be it bonnets or scarves That, and changing your pillow cases every 5-7days

Yes satin/silk pillow cases keep any oils on the surface unlike cotton which soaks it in. Therefore the satin/silk will spread oils from our hair to our face as we turn in your sleep. I also don't like the feel of them, I get too hot

Vaseline is actually really good for your face. It’s not a moisturizer what it does Is that it seals in exiting moisture on the skin to prevent dryness and irritation on the skin.
