The best informative video so far in this wellness month Sanne! Dr. Barbara clearly knows what she's talking about and has a very candid approach when it comes to skin health, which is so refreshing 😊 Thank you so much! ❤

Dr barbara here products are just soooo expensive. Especially the hyaluronic acid! Its the same as the ordinary one except the ordinary one costs 7 euro’s. I just dont onderstand why it all has to be so expensive. If other brands can make it so much cheaper. But Thanks for the tips. Love from belgium x

You're so right! I fell from my chair when I checked the prices. Greetings from Brussels :3. NB: Typology skincare sets are high quality and it lasts quite long :)

Ssrly ! I read their ingredients and everything it was actually very nice but I can find the same in the ordinary then why would someone send $300 !!!
@cinephile17123 жыл бұрын
Obscenely and unnecessarily expensive.

You guys are so uneducated 🤦🏾♀️ her hyaluronic acid has multiple molecular who penetrate layers of our skin, I think everyone knows that we have multiple layers of skin❗️ so don't judge the book from the cover, try it and then talk about it🤦🏾♀️her hyaluronic is the best thing that she made🧿💙 that's why is in a lot of her products not only her hyaluronic acid serum ✌🏾
@cinephile17123 жыл бұрын
@@fufuissue2089 how are people supposed to try it when the serums are $300? You may have that but most don’t.

Love this video Sanne, so cool to listen to Dr Barbara share her tips. Gentle scrubs are the best and I love Dr Sturm’s cleanser as part of my night time routine. Also, her eye cream is by far the best I have come across 💕 Also, can you please share where your blazer and trousers are from? A gorgeous and sophisticated look 🌟 x x love from Australia

Those products are so ridiculously overpriced and clearly catered for the elite. What’s especially annoying is, you can find similar products with similar ingredients, for a fraction of the price. Also, in most instances, a lot of celebrities actually get the products for free, exactly like La Mer, biggest rip off.

Hi Sanne, I really appreciate your efforts for bringing up such a knowledgeable video. But the products which doctor is suggesting are out of my budget. Could you please suggest any budget friendly solution for hyperpigmentation. Recently I have developed and now I'm scared because it is very prominently visible on my face.
@asihwicaksani24413 жыл бұрын
I highly suggest to watch dr dray or dr iddriss about skin care and all your skin problems. They both board certified dermatologist, and they usually recommends super affordable products. My skin is much improved now after I simplified my routines per their suggestion.

You cut off the important part of her explaining the benefits of vitamin D. I stopped going in the sun and used sunscreen and my vitamin D was low, even though I took vitamin and ate fish. Doctor said to stay in the sun for 15 minutes a day after that I put sunscreen and use hats. Now my vitamin D is back to normal.

So does Dr.Sturm not recommend retinols at all? I’m confused bc most other dermatologists recommend it
@rose-hl9yc3 жыл бұрын
She is no dermatologist, something orthopedic, I think
@beckya6403 жыл бұрын
She doesn’t recommend retinol because she considers them to be too inflammatory for most skin. Her skin ethos revolves around maintaining the skin barrier. She believes actives are damaging. I think everyone has different skin and should create the regimen that is best for them as individuals. Maybe even a dermatologist could help.
@kristeneg76323 жыл бұрын
That’s what I was wondering when she said that
@SoccerDua3 жыл бұрын
I have severe allergic reactions to retinols- they give me huge ping pong sized hot boils under my skin. I know most people don’t react this way, but man, if a chemical can do that to a body, I don’t see how it can be good for you.

She is a real doctor - she is an orthopedist and wrote her doctor thesis about "Injuries in the musculoskeletal system of alpine skiers" and stayed with the Austrian alpine ski team to observe it. She is not a dermatologist but she says this herself in the video.
