I have recommended the Monistat chafing gel to my friends and family for years. Walmart came out with an Equate brand which is a couple of dollars cheaper! I love the Nyx brow glue. I agree, it holds the brows well without being crunchy. 🙂

The anti-chafing gel is so good! I use it wherever I get irritation, especially in hot/humid weather. It's a life saver! 👍 In the past I have used it as a makeup primer on my nose and wherever I have texture I want to smooth out. It worked well by felt too heavy on my face. That's just me though.

I agree with most toothpaste too damn strong but recently I’ve been using Hello toothpaste with fluoride I love it. It is minty, but it’s not overbearing. It’s their naturally whitening fluoride mint to be it. Vegan cruelty free no SLS I like it.

Kind of a weird question for you Dr. Dray: If you know you are going to be sweating immensely such as during running or exercising, what is the best thing to keep on your skin? Not thinking of sunscreen (which is a given outside), but of indoor exercise. Is a clean face best? Or a glycerin moisturizer? Just wondering. When mowing the lawn or running, I use Neutrogena sunscreen covered thickly with extra strength Boudreaux's Butt Paste - it is the only zinc cream that sticks to my face no matter what. I had a very obvious ringworm splotch on my chin a little while ago (I volunteer at a cat/kitten rescue). Would the Monistat cream address fungal infections, too? When I contacted my doctor about it, he told me to just use any over-the-counter vaginal yeast infection cream. And it did work well!

Quick question, Dr. Dray. I know that you try many products ( which I truly appreciate) and I am wondering about irritation to your skin. I am wary about trying new products (I have hyperpigmentation) that my skin may not like and will irritate my skin . I also worry about “messing” with the consistency in usage for products that I currently use. Any suggestions?

I had to switch to kids toothpaste as well. The usual minty flavors now cause me redness and irritation around my mouth. Not in my mouth or on my lips, interestingly. Chewing gum is also no problem. But I have to either apply a layer of Vaseline around my mouth before brushing or use something with a weird fruit flavor - which I personally don't enjoy 😭

Biotene brand (known largely for oral hygiene products targeting dry mouth relief) has a toothpaste that is a very mild minty flavor, and developed to be for sensitive skin/no SLS. I found it on Amazon, and it has lived up to its claims thus far-no irritation around mouth for me. Previously, I had only been using fruity/“kid-friendly” flavors of toothpaste as well. 😊

The kids toothpaste was interesting. I've tried grape and strawberry flavours from a couple of brands, because I couldn't believe my reaction, and they were the same. It feels like I have a mouth full of pins and needles. There's no other way to describe it. I told my mother and she was like, "your dentist changed your toothpaste when you were a toddler because you screamed in agony every time we tried to brush your teeth" 🤦‍♀I had no memory of it
