Gemma Shackleton yeah! like it's nice that they're trying to learn as they play and it's fun to watch how they adapt to playing this game but google is always readily available for them. i always use google/youtube when i'm struggling to learn something. i'm sure most of us won't mind if they spend a minute or two searching for some tips. i love this series and i love them but there is no excuse to not go the extra step and at least, learn the core basics, and maybe even learn extra stuff that could be helpful to them. i completely understand if they encounter something difficult that they won't know what to do (and they can still google it if they'd like), but if they're ever frustrated at something that's extremely simple, the only people they can be frustrated with is themselves tbh.

You can buy plumbob lights that make a room a certain mood and playful is one of them, so whenever your sim spends time in the same room with that light they'll start I feel playful :)
