I have been using it in different fights but I had a feeling something was off, when checking cmx and logs things didn’t quite add up, but didn’t have time to test it properly. It seems I will need to drop the skill for now (in trials), shame. It is still handy for portal in vSS HM though.

Something people often don't think about is using the Willpower 3pc Jewelry, it allows you to wear the Master's staff while also having the benefits from the Maelstrom staff bonus with Wall of Elements.

you can do the master's + maelstrom staff together without the willpower 3pc though. I showed a setup for it in this vid. willpower is okay but i'd love to see the 3pc sets get some love at some point.

While on other classes i primarily run BSW/Sul-Xan OR Orders Wrath/Sul-Xan I've been thinking to Go Frostbite/Sul-Xan on MagDen, but not sure if thats the best Combination to go for. BSW/Sul-Xan would work too i assume, but not sure if Frostbite is going to be the stronger Option here.

Question! Since they updated the staffs to now ignore 2974 resistance and after Tank debuffs the boss. Instead of being responsible for 7017 penetration we now only need 4043?

I'm guessing that 2k mag and 258 SD will be around 8-10% damage, but would value your insight. heya ty for another very great video. useually a healer/suport player. if running zenkosh in a not so organized group. having to body alkosh and frontbar zen. would u still use frostclench as spammable, when not using masterstaff for single target incounters. or would bird or forcepulse be better?

I’d still use frost clench. However in that scenario you laid out you could easily backbar z’en. Only need to land a light attack every 20s from the backbar and you will easily do that

Always can flex in some survival skills as needed. Lotus blossom can be pretty nice for some constant healing.

The frost reach morph is an increased initial hit compared to the other 2 elements. They buffed it up quite a few patches back.

Hey skinny...long time listener first time caller. Stuck at 95k parse and I am a Khajiit as I pvp with this toon too (so no switching) I had to take kilt off as the wasted crit damage was like 165% and went Zaans. I do have two purple rings, broke since returning, your weapon damage is a lot more than 258 (high elf passive) my max is 6753 to your 7457. Champion points are the same, masters perfected, relequin not perfected. Curious if I am missing something? Even with Zaans my crit damage is 141% lol. Took off barbed trap and still at 131% (whose idea was it to have a crit cap lol) I have a weave avg of .169 (I blame a controller and age) so I know I have work there. I will take my answer off air.

Hey. Yeh unfortunately khajiit is a little worse on the dummy cause of the perfect uptimes on all the crit dmg stuff. In actual content they can be neck and neck with high/dark elves cause most groups won’t have all that stuff going and almost never perfectly. I’d say the top end for khajiit on the dummy should still be close to 120k or so. With your gear limitations you mentioned maybe 112-115k. So could just be the rotation. Getting it down as fast as possible. I see a lot of people going a tad bit too slow and therefore losing out on some dmg there.

Honestly I don't 'get it all' but I realize there is a mathematical logical approach in all of this. I play mostly for fun and results. I noticed others play really well which includes their ability to move a lot and move effectively. Which on pc I'm not that good at. Thoughts?

There’s a mix of a lot of that. Ultimately you can take it as far as you want to and you can still get really good results without stressing over every little detail. I just try and provide those little details for those that do want to go that route.

I do like frostbite. It's not the greatest set but it does make the build more unique. As a tank main I've only actually enjoyed warden frost builds when i play dps. Do u think frostbite with whorl would be decent for a full frost build?

I do not, to this day, have any idea how you manage to sustain this kind of build. Its beyond frustrating. Ive tried literally everything, changed race from high elf to khajiit, still wasnt enough, used ghastly eyebowl to amp up sustain, still not enough, race swappwd to breton for even more sustain and even then i just barely managed to squeak through. What am i missing 😭

Curious why you're using arctic blast on your ranged builds--shouldn't a ranged caster be more than 6 meters from the boss?

Not always, but it’s also a nice emergency heal even if you are at range. But yes if you know you won’t be needing any heal for yourself and you won’t be getting any ticks from it, that is obviously a choice you can make to drop it for something else. Pretty sizeable dps loss to lose it though.
