this is what was amazing about generation 1 specifically, they were friends and they were family, it just felt real and organic, and feel like it all came to be naturally before we get to meet them, they grew up together, were all different (more and more so as they grow), but just made sense and they were there for each other Forever dreaming of a world where chris and jal go to london with maxxie and anwar, live in a flat together and celebrate Christmas together as a family of their own friends from highschool can easily grow apart, and the ending of the show is really sad because of that too, but friends like these are precious, some of the connections between them were deep and genuine, I wanna believe that life didn't get in the way and they cherished these memories, saw how special these relationships were and remained friends at least with some of them, and in way that did happen with the cast, some of them still see each other, it warms my heart
