@@alicerose7856 there is no war on an American military installations. They are used to train for war. Sometimes during training there are accidents and people do lose their lives. That could create a malevolent energy I suppose. I did see an entity or something at an old German barracks on the North Sea that I stayed at for a few nights that creeped me out pretty good.

Or maybe they're fond of someone in said military installation and want to be closer to them in death to watch over them. Lol this makes me really happy for some reason, maybe because I never usually check comments on social media or KZbin only because I always get trapped and before I know if I’ve read 4 hours of comments. Anyway decided to do a quick check and I was blown away that you and I have the same 4 go to creators for sleep. I started falling asleep to paranormal stories and unexplained things like a year ago and it’s been the best year of sleep in my 35 years of life. My all time favorite as of last week because I gave it so much time i realized the way he reads and appreciates each story helps me stay connected to the plot and connection to the story.

Northwest Pennsylvanian here. You're more likely to run into meth cooks in the woods around my town. They're plenty dangerous enough. If you come up here for the hunting or fishing, and Erie County is known for its fishing, be very careful in the woods.

Exactly. My husband asked me to go camping with him and I told him I absolutely will not go without a firearm. He asked me what I was the most scared of and I told him “human monsters.” People that are on drugs or people with ill intentions, in general. Animals not as much, but still not my favorite thought. Stranger creatures are something I’m also scared of but they’re less likely than a person coming around. I live close to the meth slums as well and my ex brother in law was badly strung out on the stuff. It makes people mental. It makes them see things that aren’t there and they’ll go into these insane panics that could cause them to really hurt someone or themselves. Anyway. No thanks about the camping.

Mountain Lions too, they scream loud, like someone is being killed. You can feel there presence, I'm rural too I wear a mask with eyes on the back of my head, as staying vigilant, the Mountain Lions will actually think, that you are watching them front & back.

To me, you're saying that I shouldn't be able to have fun life experiences with my friends simply because I have a disability. Sure, hiking may not be the easiest thing for me, and the experience with the Whistler was scary, but I had a lot of fun. And, seriously, "Can we say blind, deaf, and dumb much?" So something pretty creepy happened to me and my youngest son this past Saturday night. Since we both know what SW are we also know if you hear whistling in the woods get the heck outta there ASAP! Well we work together so when we got home Saturday night and got out of the car heading towards our house, I hear whistling coming from the end of our house towards the woods...I froze. It did it again. At this point I'm like you heard it that time right? My son shakes his head yes, eyes wide. So then we hear it a final 3rd time and I'm like RUN! GET IN THE HOUSE! We came in slamming the door and locked it. My husband's like what's going on? I tell him so of course he gets his gun and flashlight and GOES OUT TO INVESTIGATE! I'm begging him not to go. Needless to say it didn't do it again and he thinks we're crazy or it was just one of our cats....I KNOW it wasn't no cat. And that's another weird thing. My cats are always waiting for me when I get home to feed them again. There was not a single cat out there that night! Another time I got woke up to something screaming in the woods outside my house. I went out and listened and when I tried to record it, it wasn't loud enough and stopped shortly after. But it was creepy to say the least!
