Well Hicks is more of a luxury than a necessity when you have the talent at other positions the Eagles do. Sean Lee makes that defense from a bottom of the league to a top 10 defense. It's all relative to the impact you have on your team. The defense is extremely young especially in the secondary. And when Lee is there, those over the middle passes aren't as available as when he is not. And they replaced Sproles with a top tier running back and already had Blount. No one is saying that Dallas is the only team with injuries. But given the depth and experience on the team, the injuries they've suffered are much more detrimental. Just ask Green Bay how injuries can ruin your season.

Gonzalo Rodriguez III peters IS better than smith, hicks is worse than lee but not by a ton. The only case you have is zeke but that cant be an excuse cuz your backup got around 100 yards so that aint a bad run game. We had darby out for the first half of the season but we won, and he is better than any of your corners. We just lost our kicker who himself was a backup to our previously injured kicker. We had a line backer doing kickoffs. If you guys cant win games with a couple key players out, then thats not our problem, it just goes to show how little depth you have. Sehawks have NO offensive line and NO running back but they still win, so how you gonna complain about 1 o lineman and a runningback when you have alot of other great lineman and another 2 runningbacks who have had great seasons in their career. We both lost our starting runningbacks, both lost our starting left tackles, and both lost our starting linebacker. And the eagles even lost their best corner, but did we make excuses? No. Wanna know why? Cuz we have the better team

Prescott is an overrated QB. He has no pocket awareness, he forces balls into coverage and can't throw deep. On the other hand Wentz has the ability to throw receivers open, and has much better pocket awareness and can complete passes while being pressured. Also has a great deep ball. There's not much of an argument to have when it comes to Prescott vs Wentz.

Something no one is talking about, maybe Dez isn't a shadow of himself, maybe Romo was just that much better as a passer. Strange that Dez's drop off in performance coincide with Romo leaving town, isn't it? Dez hasn't had elite production since Romo left. Just like when Big Ben goes down, AB's production dips. Most often times, an elite QB and elite WR will elevate one another, but sometimes the street goes one way. Romo was good enough to inflate Dez, but Dez isn't good enough to inflate Dak.

Think about this: J J Watts missed the entire 2016 season, a 2 time defensive player of the year, and Houston finished 1st in overall defense and made the playoffs.
